    The Maintenance Set-up Technician (MST) Performs all duties necessary, under the general direction of the Maintenance Team Leader (MTL) to maintain the assigned manufacturing production equipment to include set up, changeover, preventive maintenance, and minor mechanical breakdown maintenance, and assist in the development of new products and processes. Duties and Responsibilities: The MST receives close supervision and guidance from the MTL. The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are not all encompassing and are representative of those required on the job. A Maintenance Set-up Technician: Familiarity with all plant equipment safety requirements. Working knowledge of company specific computer software (eInfotree, Blue Mountain etc.) Firm grasp of cGMP and GDP methodology. Ability to find and follow all company SOP's. Able to recognize unsafe situations and ask for help when they are found. Firm grasp of the proper use of all hand tools. Basic working knowledge of shop equipment (drills, grinders, band saws, ect.) Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical breakages. Ability to repair fluid transmission systems (pumps, motors, valves) Can complete line changeovers without assistance. Can complete machine PM's with assistance. Consistently escalates issues to more seasoned technicians for assistance. Log-in and complete all assigned SOP's and compliance trainings in eInfotree. Perform any other tasks as assigned by maintenance leadership. Required Skills and Abilities: HS Diploma or equivalent education required. 1 or more years manufacturing experience. 1 or more years multi-craft maintenance experience. A successful candidate will also have: Ability to listen and learn from more seasoned technicians. Ability to perform in a team environment. Open minded. Ability to properly escalate DT and other issues. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
