The Role:
We are looking for an experienced part-time Payroll Analyst who is energized by the challenge of our unique workforce and is eager to evaluate and improve our processes. The ideal candidate is an agile problem solver: as we grow our business we look for innovative ways to motivate and reward our clinicians. This position will work with Operations to make these pivots in pay a reality while keeping the organization compliant in all aspects of payroll. This role will report to the Payroll Manager and work closely with our accounting and cross-functional teams including People, RCM and operations.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position working a minimum of 20 hours per week at a rate of $30 - 35 per hour.
Who you are:
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst
Part-time availability during traditional business hours of operation (9am-5pm within your designated time zone)
In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and tax regulations in all 50 states; experience with piecework pay is a plus
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Experience in answering payroll tickets with questions from employees in a clear and courteous manner
Knowledge of UKG and the aptitude to learn new systems; payroll software implementation experience a plus
General understanding of accounting, particularly the impact of payroll to the P&L and ability to investigate budget to actual variances in payroll
Agile problem solver; ability to adapt current processes to fit business needs
An ability to plan and manage multiple projects as well as strong organizational skills

Manage aspects of the payroll and timekeeping functions by:
Performing timely and accurate preparation of varying payroll cycles for both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors
Ensuring accuracy of payroll changes (ex: new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations)
Periodically auditing payroll transactions to ensure amounts and payment dates are accurate
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

We're looking for a Payroll Manager who knows payroll inside and out and can own the function from start to finish. This is an in-house role-no outsourcing-so we need someone who's confident, experienced, and ready to take full responsibility for delivering accurate, timely payroll every week.
What You'll Do:
· Run weekly payroll for both field and office staff, including union and non-union employees.
· Maintain payroll records, time sheets, and job costing data.
· Accurately calculate wages, deductions, benefits, and taxes.
· Handle union reporting and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
· Submit union remittances and stay current on union rules and rates.
· Prepare and file payroll tax returns (federal, state, and local).
· Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, certified payroll reporting, and labor regulations.
· Maintain and optimize payroll systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or similar).
· Collaborate with IT and HR to streamline payroll workflows and reporting.
· Generate payroll reports for finance and project teams.
· Support internal and external audits related to payroll and labor compliance.
· Partner with HR on onboarding, terminations, and employee changes.
· Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and labor allocation.
What you'll need (minimum qualifications):
· Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in the construction industry.
· Strong understanding of union payroll, certified payroll, and prevailing wage requirements.
· Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
· Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and tax regulations.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Overview:
As part of the OneHR People Solution Center team, manage the new centralized payroll team to support all US and Canadian Mercedes Benz entities. This role is to manage the work on the payroll activities by performing specific policy, process, and payment harmonization.

ADP is hiring a Payroll Support Representative -- Level I. The Payroll Support Representative supports Major Accounts Comprehensive Services Client users on WFN, PayX, ez LM, Portal, HRB and related applications by providing guidance and research in response to a wide variety of questions and issues presented by Client PayrollAdministrators. The person in this role will use multiple tools and research resources in order to develop an accurate and comprehensive response to a wide range of inquiries regarding payroll practices and tax considerations, taking into account the differences across states and localities. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to questions from Clients regarding the use of the WFN, PayX, ez LM, Portal, and HRB applications. Provides application/navigation support.
Assist Clients with Client data maintenance, setup, configuration changes in AutoPay Mainframe, WFN, ez LM, HRB and the Portal and coordinates with all functional areas (e.g. PTO, Special Calcs, Time and Attendance schedule, 401k, etc.) as needed.
Performs new feature setup requests (e.g. Group Term Life, HSA, direct deposit calcs, special calcs, Benefit Accruals, Multi-J, split wraps, add'l locations, etc.).
Assists and supports Clients with Payroll processing questions and issues.
Use on-line tools and other resources to research and respond to Client inquiries requiring guidance on how to address a wide variety of payroll, pay practice and payroll tax questions and situations.
Collaborates with internal Clients/Partners (401k, FSA, Tax, etc.) and/or third party vendors involved in providing services to identify and resolve issues and ensure that these services meet Client expectations.
Escalates Client issues to SSS, Tech Services, Project Services, Connections Team, Carriers, Development or other 3rd parties as appropriate. Communicates status and resolution to Client.
Completes complex projects including:
1. Calculation updates, special reports, tax amendments, company setup, troubleshooting
2. PTO, OT, Double Time, etc. researches historical data for adjustments needed
3. Researches Benefit Accruals recalculates and imports corrections.
Assists Client with tax changes for understanding, conducts research and follow-ups as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Occasional extended hours during peak seasons. May work 5 - 10 hours of OT 6 - 8 weeks of the year.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
Bachelors Preferred. Completion of FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience. Basic knowledge of payroll tax deposit, filings, principles and wage and hour laws.

Assist Payroll Clerks with payroll system related administrative and technical processes (i.e. creating and maintaining hourly and salaried work schedules, providing individual training, etc.)

Validate/ reconcile payroll related data (I.e. wage payments, payroll taxes, accurate funding, etc.)

The Workday Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and administering payroll processes within the Workday HCM system to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
