RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLLADMINISTRATOR:
Processes weekly payroll by conducting audits, verifying data and ensuring accuracy.
Uploads spreadsheets and validates all payroll deductions and separate checks have been included for the pay date.
Finalizes payroll, prints checks, prints invoices and creates Direct Deposit (ACH) file. Uploads files to Vista Viewpoint and verify dollar amounts.
Submits quarterly tax test and production files to Vista Viewpoint. Runs reports and validates data
before submitting to ensure accuracy.
Conducts payroll audits of departments entering in hours to ensure uniformity of pay practices every quarter.
Creates step-by-step instructions for training new users and managers in Vista Viewpoint and provides updates and reminders on tips for using the system.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLLADMINISTRATOR:
At least 2+ years of relevant experience
Associates Degree is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with ADP, Vista Viewpoint, or other large Payroll Software
Construction Industry experience is beneficial
