Generate and distribute payroll reports as required. Qualifications: Proven experience in payroll processing, with a focus on certified payroll. Strong understanding of complex payroll tasks, including job allocations or job costing. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for all exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring pay is processed timely, and in compliance with government regulations. Essential Functions: Responsible for weekly & semi-monthly payroll processing Conduct pre- and post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance Research & communicate Davis Bacon & state wage scale determinations for various job sites Conducts certified payroll filings Work with HR team to aggregate employee data relating to new hires, terminations & bonus payments during each pay period in order to accurately process payroll Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to improve payroll processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
