Job Summary
Our Data Development team consists of data and compensation analysts that maintain and enhance Payscales data offerings. We collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to create innovative data products for Payscale customers. Our standard tools include Microsoft SQL Server, Python, Snowflake, GIT and Excel.
As part of our Data Development team, the Data Analyst I will:
Lead product releases for a new international data product offerings using MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Python, and Excel
Perform quality checks on compensation data to ensure accurate and timely product releases
Collaborate with team members via Zoom to review and quality-check work
Audit existing and create new company job matches to our proprietary data sets to improve the depth, breadth, and accuracy of our data products.

Experience

What you'll be working on
Strategy and Leadership
Define and execute the Platform Services technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and security requirements.

Establish and enforce best practices for software development, QA, deployment, and operational excellence (DevOps/SRE).

Platform Development and Architecture
Identity and Access Management (IAM): Own the strategy and delivery for core security services (Identity, AuthN, AuthZ), including SSO, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Enterprise Administration: Architect and implement scalable, multi-tenant solutions for enterprise customer administration, user provisioning, and account management at scale.
Internal Tooling: Oversee the development of secure, efficient, and user-friendly Customer Service Administration Tools for platform support, auditing, and debugging.
Drive the adoption of modern microservices architecture, cloud-native patterns, and performance optimization for high availability and low latency.
Collaboration and Security
Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical specifications and clear development plans.
Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure all services meet stringent security standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) and maintain robust logging and auditing capabilities.
Work with other Engineering Directors to seamlessly integrate Platform Services into product-facing features and infrastructure.

This highly-visible role partners with senior leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and our internal control framework. You will serve as the subject-matter expert on complex accounting matters and contribute to the development of reporting processes and financial policies in a private company environment. This position reports to the Senior Director of Accounting.
What you'll be working on
Leading preparation of consolidated financial statements, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, board materials, and compliance deliverables.
Researching and interpreting accounting standards; advising on complex transactions, including acquisitions, equity programs, lease modifications, and impairment assessments.
Maintaining and enhancing internal control frameworks to support compliance with lender requirements and best practices.
Preparing and reviewing disclosures, technical accounting memos, and management reporting analyses to support clarity and decision-making.
Partnering with SP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial data, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis related to debt (ASC 470), leases (ASC 842), equity compensation (ASC 718), capitalized software (ASC 350), and business combinations (ASC 805).
Managing, coaching, and developing one direct report, supporting technical growth and operational excellence.
We'd love to hear from people with
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a master's degree is a plus.
CPA license (or equivalent certification).
7+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience, ideally including both public accounting and industry experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal control frameworks, and technical accounting research; IFRS exposure is helpful.
Experience leading technical accounting projects, communicating complex issues clearly, and driving process or reporting improvements, including use of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
The base pay provided for this position ranges from $133,450 / year - $180,550 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.

About the Role
Workday is looking for a dynamic and driven Student Solution Consultant with Financial Aid and/or Student Finance expertise to join our Higher Education solution consulting team. Our team demonstrates the value of Workday's next generation SaaS Student Information System Application to Workday prospects and customers. Workday Solution Consultants provide Student Information System expertise, engage audiences with dynamic content and story-telling, lead Executive presentations, and Workday Student product demonstrations, in partnership with our sales team, to prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Our team works in a highly complex environment that requires curiosity, flexibility, and drive.
Responsibilities include:
To deliver of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
To craft detailed design and implementation specifications for sophisticated products/applications/solutions
To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
To support the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
