This role replaces a long‑tenured operator retiring in March. Training will be conducted onsite for the first two weeks; after training, the role transitions to 100% remote, provided all technology and connectivity requirements are met. Location: Remote (must live within driving distance to Kohler, WI) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST Key Responsibilities + Answer and route all internal and external calls coming through main corporate phone line + Provide polite, accurate, and efficient call transfers while upholding brand standards + Act as a gatekeeper for executive leadership as needed + Handle 90-160 calls per day (team of 3 supports approx. 275-480 total calls daily) + Participate in team chat to collaborate and support peers + Receive ongoing call‑quality reviews for coaching and development + Maintain professional conduct and excellent customer service on every interaction + Follow all corporate policies, performance standards, and attendance requirements Must‑Have Skills & Qualifications + Prior customer service experience, including experience handling phone‑based operations + Computer literacy and ability to type 30+ WPM + Must live within reasonable driving distance to Kohler, WI (for training, meetings, tech issues) + Must have dedicated, quiet home workspace free from noise + High‑speed internet (minimum 10MB) and a dedicated landline required Technology & Remote Work Requirements We will provide: + Computer + Phone + Wired headset You must provide: + High‑speed wired internet connection (not WiFi for work computer) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kohler, WI.
