In 2011, I played a key role in successfully selling Varian at a 55% premium over previous day close and ~10% greater than an all-time high, by partnering with the CFO and investment bankers in responding to an unsolicited bid for the company. Here, I actively participated in the selling process with the CEO, leveraging deep product and industry knowledge to sell Varian at a premium.
