    Pratt & Whitney is seeking a motivated individual to join the Digital Technology Infrastructure Workspace Services team as a PC Refresh and Escalation Coordinator.

    Our Digital Technology Workplace Services team is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation execution and service delivery of Pratt & Whitney end user computing technologies including Windows PC/laptop/tablet/smartphone hardware & software, O365 cloud services, mobile services, virtual desktop infrastructure, communication, collaboration & productivity tools, and end user experience satisfaction.

    This position will be responsible for working with the PC Refresh service owner, project manager, suppliers, project team and end users on communication and execution of our annual PC refresh program with an objective of 100% completion on-time.

    Responsibilities include developing, sending and follow up with end- users on PC refresh communications to gather the necessary data to order appropriate PC model and schedule PC refresh tasks. The position will require candidate to provide guidance and answer end-user questions regarding process including questions on hardware, software, process, and scheduling along with arrangements for special requests. This position will also require the candidate to identify and clean up bad inventory data between end user, database, suppliers, and refresh project team. The candidate will also be required to evaluate, approve and/or reject deferral requests. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for follow up communication to ensure PCs are returned properly. Finally, the candidate will be responsible for communicating and coordinating updates with suppliers.

    In addition to the PC Refresh coordinator responsibility, this position will be responsible for the escalation of PC related Service Now Incidents that have exceeded their SLA for timely resolution. The candidate will be responsible for working the end-user and contacting the appropriate management and support staff including suppliers to get the incident or request completed. Candidate will need to identify business impact and provide frequent status update reports on outstanding escalations. Finally, candidate will be required to coordinate resolution activities for unresolved escalations. In addition, this position will also be required to test new OS patches and software.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Science and 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years' experience

    + A minimum of 2 years hands-on technical experience in installation, setup, and configuration of enterprise-grade PC infrastructure and computing systems.

    + Experience and strong knowledge of how to engineer a corporate Windows OS image including configuration settings, scripts, registry settings, system and application software installations along with experience testing and deploying large scale upgrades.

    + Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and PC hardware.

    + Strong administrative and troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and O365.

    + Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, solve, and remediate PC hardware and software problems in a complex infrastructure environment.

    + US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
