1989

Since Cooley's gamble, sales had more than quadrupled, climbing to $443 million by 1989, while profits had increased sevenfold, reaching almost $30 million.

1991

The company's business grew steadily, with annual sales eclipsing the $500 million mark in 1991, rising to $538 million.

1992

In 1992, when PCC-U.K. was sold as part of the company's consolidation of its European operations in France at its subsidiary Precision Castparts Corp.--France SA, sales climbed to $583 million, from which a prodigious $47.3 million was recorded in net income.

1993

Net income dropped to $1.8 million and sales slipped to $461 million in 1993, stalling the company's robust growth.

1995

In early 1995 the company acquired Quamco, Inc., a manufacturer of a wide range of tools and equipment for industrial applications.

1997

PCC Structurals subsequently purchased Schlosser Casting Company of Redmond, Oregon in December of 1997, accelerating PCC’s entrance into the growing airframe market, while increasing overall titanium capacity and capability.

1999

Then, in 1999, Precision Castparts Corp. completed its largest acquisition in Wyman-Gordon of Grafton, Massachusetts.

2006

PCC Ogden joined the Structurals family in December of 2006, complementing PCC’s existing aluminum and steel casting operations and enabling the company to produce larger components.
