As CEO of Gateway Communications, Mike was instrumental in developing the company leading position in the African carrier community and transforming Africa’s telecoms markets. He has long played a leadership role in the telecommunications industry, chairing a number of major industry associations, both in South Africa and internationally. Today, as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer of PCCW Global, Mike’s key responsibilities include branding, market and product strategy, and communications. He is also managing director of HKT Global Development Services, a company which delivers quadruple play services in partnership with emerging market operators.

Currently operating as a Chief Technology Officer with a substantial technical foundation, Paul has led multidisciplinary teams globally for over 20 years. Paul has significant experience in all aspects of the software industry; Chief Information Officer; Chief Digital Officer; executive directorship; acquisitions, investments, development, quality engineering, program management and operations. Expert in distilling complex products, solutions and services into clearly understandable language and presenting at all levels from IT Management to C-suite and Board levels. With experience in cloud, networks, data centers, and open source globally, Paul has developed specific expertise in the open source technology landscape.
