**Summary of Objective:**
The Maintenance Mechanic duties include install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment while following all work practices and procedures. Technicians will ensure and help maintain a safe work environment, while supporting the internal customer to achieve the sites business goals and objectives.

1. Supports the packaging lines by making routine and non-routine adjustments that insures a high quality product.

21. Attend and be active on problem definitions, counter measures for line performances at the Tier I (Daily Directional Setting meeting) and Tier II (Board meeting).
22. Document and drive actions for your respected value stream.
23. Audit the centerline document system to insure sustainability and a high level of productivity.
24. Audit and maintain a high level of 5's in the facility to help maintain a safe, organized, clean high-performing workplace
25. Attend Tier I Daily Directional Setting meetings and provide follow-up and feedback as needed.
26. Analyze equipment failures to improve overall reliability of the equipment, while maintaining productivity.
27. Update setup documentation to insure all settings are current and accurate.
28. Work with The Business Units and Scheduling to accurately maintain a timeline for any launches or validations of products.

Your Role:
The MaintenanceTechnician 1 at MilliporeSigma will support the maintenance activities at the Sheboygan Falls site. Job Description
Major accountabilities:
* Adhere to Novartis Quality Policies and procedures as they pertain to the position to ensure that all products are safe, pure, effective and of the highest quality.
* Perform a wide range of maintenance repair activities on production equipment, lab equipment and building management systems.

This position will be the first responder and triage production equipment issues and support the production floor. This position also includes paid rotation in the on-call duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Responsible for process equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for autoclaves, fill lines, washers, ovens, lyophilizers, HVAC equipment etc.
Coordinates and executes Work order & PM execution
Performs and manages equipment maintenance as Subject Matter Expert
Executes and coordinates Shutdown activities as Subject Matter Expert
Executes process equipment precheck
Participates in APS intervention
Completes and/or supports GMP documentation including investigations, CAPA, and Change Controls
Performs Site project support
On call duties for production
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Able to clearly document work and communicate through written word.
Able to utilize computer-based systems and follow cGDP.
Able to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, systems and controls.
Craftsman level hands on skills with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics in GMP environments.
Clean room gowning qualification.

This role coordinates purchasing activities for maintenance parts and supplies and also provides mechanical support by performing basic preventive maintenance tasks and assisting maintenance mechanics as needed. Works under general supervision with technical independence in determining work methods and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Inventory & Materials Management
Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials and spare parts
Maintain accurate inventory levels in the CMMS or inventory system
Use the FIIX computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track inventory against work orders and purchase parts as needed to complete work orders
Perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories
Identify obsolete, excess, or critical spare parts and communicate findings
Storeroom Organization & Control
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom environment
Ensure parts are stored according to best practices (FIFO, environmental controls, kitting where applicable)
Establish and maintain standardized labeling and bin locations
Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives in the storeroom
Procurement & Vendor Support

Track open orders and follow up with vendors to meet maintenance needs
