As president and chief executive officer, Dave is responsible for all operations within the PCL family of companies. Dave leads PCL’s Office of the CEO, a group that includes the top senior executive management and leadership of PCL. Before becoming president and CEO, Dave held the position of deputy chief executive officer, and before that was president and COO, Canadian and Australian Operations. Dave joined PCL Edmonton in 1984 as a field engineer and, following a number of project assignments in both Canada and the United States, settled in Calgary as construction manager in 1997. He was appointed Calgary district manager in 2004 and regional vice president, Western Canadian Buildings, in 2008. Dave has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Alberta, attended the Ivey Executive program at the University of Western Ontario, and is Gold Seal certified and a member of APEGA. ​

President and COO

As president and COO, US Operations, and as a member of PCL’s Board of Directors and the Office of the CEO, Deron guides the strategic direction of PCL’s US commercial buildings and civil infrastructure operations while providing corporate oversight throughout the US. Deron began his PCL career in 1996 as project engineer and quickly became one of the company’s youngest vice presidents and district managers in Orlando, where he directed southeast building operations.

Through his continuous drive for improvement, Deron was named a 2018 Top 25 Newsmaker by Engineering-News Record (ENR) for his contributions to advancing innovation and technology in the construction industry by championing the creation of PCL PartsLab. Deron not only strives to make a difference in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, but also throughout his community. His strong sense of philanthropy developed early on in his career and he participated on the board of numerous organizations, including the Edgewood Children’s Ranch, an organization aimed to change the direction of troubled children’s futures, the Parent Development Board for Student Affairs at Auburn University, and was the Tocqueville chair for the Heart of Florida United Way Chapter. Deron is currently a Tocqueville and board member of Mile High United Way.

Deron holds a construction science degree from Auburn University. He has over 25 years of industry experience and is a licensed general contractor.

Roger Keglowitsch

COO - Heavy Industrial

Roger Keglowitsch, Chief Operating Officer, Heavy Industrial, since November 1, 2017, and is a member of PCL’s Office of the CEO. As chief operating officer Roger is responsible for PCL’s heavy industrial operations across North America. In addition, he is an active member of PCL’s Board of Directors. Roger joined the PCL family in 1992 and has served in various capacities of increasing responsibility during his time with PCL. Roger holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alberta and is a certified journeyman plumber pipefitter.

Chris Gower

COO - Buildings

As chief operating officer for PCL’s Buildings Group, Chris is responsible for the performance of the organization’s Buildings operations across all borders and also serves PCL’s Canadian Buildings clients and partners who access markets outside of Canada to ensure continuity with all PCL operations. Chris is a member of PCL’s Office of the CEO, a group that includes the top senior executive management and leadership of PCL. Chris began his career in Toronto in 1995 and during his tenure has progressively held positions from estimator, construction risk manager, senior project manager, district manager, vice president, regional vice president, and executive vice president before assuming his present position. Chris became a member of PCL’s board of directors in 2014. Chris is an alumnus of Fanshawe College and a CCA Gold Seal certified estimator and project manager. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including PCL’s prestigious Robert Stollery Leadership Award (2000) and in 2009 Chris was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40™ leaders.
