As a dishwasher at our facility, you will be responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, glassware, and dishes according to sanitation requirements. You'll be responsible for keeping the dish cart and dish storage areas organized and assisting the kitchen in keeping the line and prep areas organized and clean. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE: Initiate SHINE daily-Exhibits "I can do that Attitude and Actions". Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care. Promotes and supports a positive work environment focused on team building and collaboration. Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff. Greets residents in a professional and courteous manner while focusing on excellent dining service. Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine. Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes. Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine. Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly. Empty trash containers regularly. Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed. Perform additional cleaning duties as requested. Clean food prep stations and equipment. Ability to read and follow directions. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely. Maintains sanitation serving and dining areas, including wiping off tables and chairs during and at end of scheduled shift. Assist with loading plates into the warmer and passing plates through the window during mealtimes. Assist with prep cooking as needed. Stocking and re-stocking supplies. Assisting with putting away freight. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to stand or walk for a full shift and lift at least 20 pounds. Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures. The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for helping manage the maintenance department. This position will provide support in creating a preventative maintenance system and procedures to manage daily operations efficiently. The Property Maintenance Technician will report to the Director of Maintenance and agrees to comply with and perform the duties and responsibilities as described below. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE: Specific skill-based competencies required include operating equipment used in skill trades, power, and hand tools, etc., adhering to safety practices and handling hazardous materials and planning/managing projects. Able to utilize defined and standardized processes. Operates a variety of job-related equipment. Able to problem solve, adapt to changing work priorities, understand and comply with life safety code, ADA, and OSHA regulations. Able to read, comprehend and follow technical manuals and documents. Complete and manage all required equipment, security, and safety checks. Complete all routine maintenance and repairs on facility and conduct preventive maintenance inspections as required by the South Dakota checklist. Coordinate and complete all projects and work orders efficiently. Assist in maintaining and managing all facilities repairs, and ensure the maintenance log is in compliance with the South Dakota Licensure requirements. Organize and transport residents to and from events and appointments as needed. Complete general lawn care duties, gardening and clear sidewalks/entry of ice, snow, or debris as needed. Assist with implementing disaster plan procedures in compliance with the South Dakota Licensure requirements and conduct employee training on those procedures. Help conduct ongoing training/education with employees on the facility layout, operations, maintenance and repair procedure and fire safety. Arrange furniture and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for special events and assist in resident move ins and outs. Install system component parts, office equipment and facility components (e.g., lighting, heating and ventilating systems, alarms, plumbing, security, electrical panels, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe environment. Maintain condition of company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Attend meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform all functions and participate in safety meetings. Perform a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g., carpentry, painting, flooring, electrical and etc.) Respond to emergencies such as fires, and safety situations both during and after hours, to resolve immediate safety concerns. Assist in conducting fire drills and other drills as required Monitor heating and cooling systems to maintain acceptable temperature range in the building. Uphold customer service standards by treating residents with respect and assisting them with maintenance requests and needs in a timely manner. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. Lifting or transferring items may involve lifting up to 100 pounds at times. Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, twist, sit and reach.
