PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Clinic - Cardiology for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.14 - $67.70. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
Essential Functions
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds and monitoring patient vital signs.
* Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
* Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
* Participates in the development of and maintains established policies, procedures and objectives.
* Participates in the development and implementation of quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention programs.
* Demonstrates competence in making professional judgements pertaining to patient care.
* May screen and prioritize patient telephone or walk in inquiries concerning their medical care, prescription refills and insurance authorizations and referrals.
* Evaluates and responds appropriately to urgent or emergency situations.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Push/Pull: Frequently up to 45 lbs. force (i.e., WOW, medical carts).
* Perform hands on CPR at least 20 mins using 100-125 lbs. of force (National Assoc. of EMS Physicians and AHA) Frequency should be seldom or occasionally.
* Ability to move around area with frequent sitting.
