We are currently looking for Mechanical Assemblers who, under the guidance of the Assembly Supervisor, are responsible for bench assembly operations. This role involves assembling parts, pieces, and/or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in a manufacturing environment. It is a full-time position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble products.
Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
Apply gluing and sealing techniques using compounds like Loctite, epoxy, and RTV.
Handle v arious sizes of materials, from heavy parts to small intricate ones.
Perform soldering and assembly of various parts to VW transducers.
Conduct quality testing and inspection to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
Identify and report product defects to appropriate personnel.
Rework and repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes.
Maintain accurate records/logs.
Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of assembly experience.
Other Requirements:Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions an d blueprints for complex and standard product assembly.
Ability to maintain equipment and a clean work environment.
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a QC Associate II contractor for 8 weeks in San Diego with our biopharmaceutical customer. The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Quality Control (QC) group in support of GMP large-molecule manufacturing activities. Focus areas include execution of analytical method qualification/validation protocols, routine analytical testing and documentation/data review of QC generated results.
Duration: 8 week temp
Pay Rate: $40 - 45/hr DOE
Location: San Diego
Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with AMO on method establishment and leads transfer into QC (e.g. method verification, qualification, transfers and validations). Executes qualification/validation protocols and writes technically sound qualification/validation reports.
Perform routine analysis and testing of in-process, release and stability samples using a broad range of assays such as pH, osmolality, and appearance, as well as ELISA, HPLC methods (ie. titer, SE-HPLC, RP-HPLC), CE-SOS, SOS-PAGE, and cl EF, as needed.
Maintain a cGMP quality level of work for the QC operations to include training, documentation and procedural work.
Write and reviews data, technical reports, deviations, OOS investigations and test results and provide conclusions and proposals for future directions.
Initiate quality records as needed and perform technical writing of investigations for deviations and out of specification reports.
Supports audit preparations and client requests as needed.
Ensures the maintenance of laboratory and instrumentation.

Qualifications/ Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field

This is a lab-based role focused on the biophysical and mechanistic characterization of small molecule-protein interactions to support our drug discovery pipeline.

Design and execute binding characterization studies using SPR (Biacore S200 and 8K+).
Conduct routine compound screening and mechanistic studies using biophysical assays (e.g., nano DSF, DLS, Spectral Shift).

Analyze and interpret data to support SAR and lead optimization across multiple projects.

Qualifications:
