Your Impact
We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Electrician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. This role must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and will be required to work in the field under various conditions.
Core Responsibilities
Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/ revisions to a broad range of equipment, ranging from Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to DC Fast Chargers.
Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults.
Work closely with the Planning and Scheduling team to ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and work orders are completed accurately and on time.
Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
In fieldwork including electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance of site equipment, site field reporting, work order completion, and other work as needed.
Ensure that all issues at the site are documented in the work order system and are addressed in a timely manner.

Core Experience
Electrical - Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state (REQUIRED).
2+ years' equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.
Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV)chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics is preferred, but not required.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.
Physical/Work Environment
This role requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain & snow (depending on geographic region for the role).
Working around high voltages and currents.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), always including a hard hat and safety glasses.
Repetitive use of legs, arms, hands, and fingers.
Conduct site safety assessments and identify all safety hazards on the job site, properly generate and complete JHA, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and other safety-related documentation as per OSHA and site-specific requirements.
Compensation: Pay Range - $35.00-$46.00 hourly/DOE

Your Impact:
The Telecommunications Central Office Lead Installer - Level IV will provide detailed installation, re-configuration/integration, removal, and maintenance of Carrier Central Office equipment which includes Transmission, Power, Infrastructure and Fiber systems with minimum supervision. This role will require supervision of assigned crew members and their performance.
Core Responsibilities:
Must have mastered all installation skills per Telco Standard TP76300 and be able to perform all the duties of the Installer Level 4 with a high degree of competence and accuracy as a Working Lead with assigned team members.
Mastered comprehensive equipment installation skills on a wide variety of installations and systems including AC/DC Power systems, low/high-density fiber systems, Central Office Infrastructure, and supervisory /alarm systems.
Installation knowledge and experience with transport equipment including Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, Nortel, Nokia, DELL, Juniper, etc.
Deep understanding of fiber installation standards and procedures.
Prior experience successfully leading installation projects.
Ability to read and follow Method of Procedures, order specifications, floor plans, equipment, and wiring documentation.
Ability to interface with customers, vendors, and other company employees in the completion of assigned projects. Turn up and Integration system testing skills may be required.
Ability to supervise lower-level Installers/Technicians in basic installation and testing requirements.
Elevated level of understanding of all company policies and practices, safety procedures, paperwork, and administrative requirements. Will review subordinate's time and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Comply with system update requirements of all company/customer installation documents.
Read, understand, and apply job/equipment specifications, installation documents, schematics, and test records. Demonstrated proficiency in generating MOP's, High-risk activity reports, work schedules, test records, and project completion reports.
Perform in-process and final quality audits to ensure all items meet or exceed industry and/or customer standards.
Be capable of performing the following work operations/job activities without supervision or direction:
Physically place, remove, or modify working and non-working equipment.
Install Cable trays and/or racking superstructure from drawings and Engineering documents.
Installation of a variety of Telecom equipment, cabinets and frames, data servers, switches, routers, repeaters, bridges, gateways, multiplexers, transceivers, firewalls.
Installation of DC Power Systems, BDFBs and fuse panels with associated cabling.
Identify, label, measure, terminate and physically route cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces.
Perform system power up as well as other integration activities.
Perform daily quality validation on in-process and completed work.
Perform other duties as requested.

Core Experience:
Minimum 8+ years installation experience or combination of experience and training as determined by company management. Prior leadership experiences required.
High school diploma with two years technical school or a combination of training and experience related to the communications installation field of eight plus years.

Must have proficient laptop computer skills and experience with applications.

We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Electrician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Electrician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. This role must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and will be required to work in the field under various conditions.

Periodic and lifecycle-driven performance of remedial services, including failure analysis and troubleshooting, component replacements and repairs, and battery string replacements and installations.

Teach and mentor crew members on proper techniques for site work, troubleshooting, repair and analyzing site data.

Core Experience:
Prior military training in electronics or avionics (A School, AIT, etc.) preferred.

We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Electrician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. This role must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and will be required to work in the field under various conditions.

Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/ revisions to a broad range of equipment, ranging from Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to DC Fast Chargers.
Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.

Work closely with the Planning and Scheduling team to ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and work orders are completed accurately and on time.
Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
In fieldwork including electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance of site equipment, site field reporting, work order completion, and other work as needed.
Ensure that all issues at the site are documented in the work order system and are addressed in a timely manner.

Pearce Services/ Unified Power is seeking a Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Engineer) for Fremont, CA, and surrounding areas, with a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to succeed and learn new skills. As a Critical Power Technician, you will directly support our customers in the onsite preventive, corrective and restorative maintenance of their critical power systems (i.e., UPS, DC systems, inverters, PDUs, STS, and standalone reserve battery technologies). As a UPS Field Service Engineer for Unified Power, you will possess and utilize the hit-the-ground running and think-outside-of-the-box mentalities that drive swift and superb solutions that address our customers' needs.
Core Responsibilities:
Install electrical equipment such as small rack mounted UPS equipment, various size batteries, UPS/Battery monitoring equipment.
Maintain Battery Cabinets and racks, Maintenance Bypass', Battery Monitoring Equipment, DC Systems and other electrical equipment.
Periodic and lifecycle-driven performance of remedial services, including failure analysis and troubleshooting, component replacements and repairs, and battery string replacements and installations.
Customer relationship building - provide excellent customer service; upsell products.
Field troubleshooting calls from customers to satisfactory resolution.
Quickly respond to critical situations.
Teach and mentor crew members on proper techniques for site work, troubleshooting, repair and analyzing site data.
Isolate basic hardware, software, and interface malfunctions utilizing various test equipment on multiple products and technologies.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience:
Prior military training in electronics or avionics (A School, AIT, etc.) preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years serving in a third-party critical power field service or technical support role with a demonstrated progression in technical proficiency and capability -OR-
Minimum of five (5) years serving in an OEM service environment in the critical power space.
Good understanding of AC/DC electrical principles.
Knowledge of test equipment operation, such as multi-meters, and battery test equipment.
Read and interpret electronics schematics with the ability to troubleshoot failures/faults to the component level.
Understand and have experience enforcing compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations and standards.
Outstanding work ethic, punctual, trustworthy, and reliable - you will set the pace as a senior UPS/ Critical Power Engineer.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions within fast paced changing priorities.
Physical/Work Environment:
At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA and applicable DOT Standards.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (if driving a Company Vehicle) and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds for short durations.
Ability to kneel or crouch periodically.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel for multiple days with Per Diem as projects require.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining 100% safety awareness.
