Pay rate
We offer a pay rate of $10.70 per hour, with an average work schedule of 5-10 hours per week.
Additionally, you will receive complimentary Pearson Higher Ed materials, including Pearson+ and access codes for MyLab, Mastering, and REVEL.

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Campus Ambassador to support our Field and Inside Sales teams in engaging with professors and students on campus. This part-time role plays a crucial part in driving sales, enhancing brand awareness, and providing valuable insights from a student perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist their local Pearson team ( Field and Inside Sales Representatives ) as needed each month to deliver back-to-school help for their peers, plus participate in faculty presentations where needed.
Support their local Pearson team additionally with collecting office hour data, distributing flyers to professors, creating student-perspective videos, and other special projects.
Complete 5-7 virtual projects per month , contributing input, opinions, and content in various formats such as:
Participate in focus groups
Test-drive products in development
Complete surveys
Create social media content
Serve as a Pearson brand ambassador , creating and sharing content on social media, engaging with Pearson's platforms, and promoting Pearson materials.
Attend 3-4 virtual meetings per month to collaborate with the team and discuss ongoing initiatives.
Time Commitment:
5-10 hours per week during the academic year.
Some additional planning work may be required before each semester/term.

Minimum Requirements:
Currently an undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) with a 3.0 GPA or greater at the University of Cincinnati.

Able to commit to work for one academic school year. We prefer students to continue on in the program until graduation.
Preferably at least one semester of experience using Pearson+, MyLab, Mastering, or REVEL technology.
Self-motivated, curious and proactive: ability to create and manage independent projects with limited supervision.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills: energetic, outgoing relationship-building skills are a must.

Job Summary:
The Project SOAR Peer Mentors will assist in planning and delivering programming, and providing outreach within SOAR. Mentors can either be continuing Project SOAR participants in good academic standing or recently graduated Project SOAR participants. The mentors will serve as role models, campus resource experts, and trusted points of contact for TRIO students and staff. These individuals will possess the skills and knowledge to provide support in academic, social, and personal areas as needed. In addition, these individuals will need to be able to work with a diverse group of students and be willing to participate in campus activities to help build relationships among departments and to be able to encourage mentees to participate in campus wide events. Must commit to this role for one semester.
Essential Job Functions:
Peer Mentors will report to the Project SOAR Academic Coordinator for job duties, scheduling, etc.
Maintain consistent weekly office hours.
Contact logs will be turned into supervisor to show progress with students.
Attend as many SOAR sponsored events (orientation, workshops, field trips, as possible. This includes community events & campus visits. Help with set up, student coordination, clean up, etc.
Initiate and maintain contact monthly with students.
Notify students about all SOAR and campus events through text, email, phone call, social media, & other campus communication channels. Maintain main Project SOAR email inbox and resolve emails or pass along as necessary.
Maintain accurate records & perform data entry for contacts with students in the SOAR program.
Attend Peer Mentor meetings.
Notify supervisor about student progress and concerns.
Coordinate study sessions for students.
Participate in program recruitment and assist with intake process.
Time and effort reports will be submitted monthly to the Academic Coordinator.
Completes all mandatory training.

SUMMARY
This position requires a professional transport (truck) driver to drive an IMSA transporter (with trailer) to and from events and/or fly to and from events. In addition to professional truck driving duties, this position is also responsible for set-up and teardown of equipment utilized throughout the event week/weekend as well as maintaining all equipment in a functional and professional appearing manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive transporter, often on an interstate basis, for all required events. Must be able to drive to events as prescribed while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements necessary to operate a transporter (i.e., Commercial Driver's License, testing, drive time regulations, etc.).
Truck and trailer loading and unloading; setting up and breaking down of awnings, tech equipment and any equipment as needed.
Truck and trailer scheduling and minor maintenance.
Work to support all weekend officials by maintaining equipment and supplies; staff any IMSA trailers as needed.
Responsible for equipment maintenance and care including cleaning, restocking and upkeep.
Prepare truck logs, complete timecards, and fuel reports after all trips.
After performing set-up duties at the race event, will also be asked to perform other tasks to help augment other staffing needs around other departments.
Required to operate forklifts and supporting equipment.
Periodically work at the IMSA transportation hub on off-event days.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Approximate travel required: 80% including weekends.
