Job Title: Vice President of Operations - Private Duty Nursing Location: Texas/Kansas Willing to travel Hours: Monday- Friday | 8am-5pm | Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our branch operations. This key leadership role leads operational performance, service delivery, and strategic growth across all assigned regions, including the Richardson, Texas branch. This senior executive is responsible for ensuring alignment with PHS's mission, overseeing operational and financial performance, and supporting integration with the comprehensive care model. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall operations for the PDN/HCN service line, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong organizational performance. Develop and execute strategic plans to support growth, market expansion, and integration with PHS's comprehensive care model. Manage, coach, and support branch administrators and regional leadership to achieve operational and financial goals. Monitor key performance metrics including financial results, staffing levels, patient experience, and employee engagement. Oversee the service line budget, analyze financial reports, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-HR, Outreach, Clinical Leadership, Strategy, and Integration-to optimize processes and support business initiatives. Represent the PDN/HCN service line in meetings with senior leadership, governing bodies, and industry partners. Foster a culture of teamwork, professional growth, and employee satisfaction. Support technology, process, and workflow improvements that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Address and resolve patient and family concerns with professionalism and timely follow-up. Qualifications (Executive-Level): Master's degree required in Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing, or a related field Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) strongly preferred, particularly with pediatric or critical care experience. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including 7+ years in senior management or executive-level roles. Proven success overseeing multi-departmental or multi-site healthcare operations. Preferably pediatric, home health, or medically complex operations. Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills; able to interpret P&Ls and operational reports. Deep expertise in medical management processes, clinical review criteria, reimbursement models, and healthcare compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience leading strategic growth initiatives, operational improvements, and organizational change management. Advanced financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and KPI development. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence executives, boards, and external stakeholders. Proven leadership experience in staff development, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and building high-performing teams. Experience in pediatric care, home health, DME, or medically complex populations highly preferred. Proficiency with healthcare software systems, operational platforms, and data analytics tools; experience leading digital transformation initiatives a plus. Track progress and revise as needed Meet mandatory continuing education requirements Plan and provide appropriate treatment for neuro-muscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referral and therapy assessment Assist and instruct patients and families in transfer techniques appropriate to patient abilities. Instruct patients and families on the use of equipment, such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc., in a safe manner. Utilize appropriate therapy equipment specific to patient diagnosis and needs Promote company mission and administrative policies to ensure the quality of care Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved program Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist Current Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation One year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Pediatric experience required Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills Knowledge of durable medical equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally Able to work in a patient's home in various conditions Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality Proof of current CPR certification Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing.
