I thought the pros for working at PEDIATRIC SPECIAL CARE were the flexibility
The cons of working at PEDIATRIC SPECIAL CARE were, as I discovered after I retired, the very low rate of pay. I made a modest living while I worked at Pediatric Special Care, but it was no where near what I could have made had I worked in a hospital.
My favorite part was the interaction I had with the child and their familiy
The owners, managers, and supervisors were all RN's. They knew the care needed for our patients, and they knew their staff.
I think the staff would have benefited from more staff interaction. We rarely saw other staff members unless it was at change of shift if the child had 24 hour care.
I knew the job. I knew what what was expected of me.
Low.
It has been almost 15 years since I retired. I don't think my former company is still in business
I found the most fulfilling part of my work was the interaction with the patients and their families.
