The peer advisors/mentors (PMs) assist the Student Support Services project director, project assistant director and GA in providing academic success coaching and programming to participating students. Responsibilities: The PMs conduct tutoring and coaching sessions in rigorous academic coursework and preparing for tests. PMs provide emotional and academic support to an assigned group of SSS project participants. Minimum Qualifications Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post-secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester. Preferred Qualifications The PM should have at least a 2.7 GPA and be at a sophomore/junior level standing with the university.
