Position Summary:
The Production Technician 2: PVA works with materials to create a finished product for commercial or industrial use. Please note that this position has a typical schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7am to 6pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow checklist for production start-up including: preparing machine for production, ensuring line is ready for production, turning on production equipment including but not limited to: compressor, vacuum, Mattpak, etc.
Input work orders into appropriate printers to ensure accurate product marking.
Affix product label rolls onto labeling machine.
Initiate and monitor the operation of the automated bagging machine.
Generate pallet tickets and record pallet information clearly and accurately.
Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure product meets Satellite standards and identify and report any quality defects promptly.
Count materials and report inventory discrepancies.
Understanding work orders and bill of materials and ability to review and sign off on materials as required.
Count and stack boxed product(s) in a neat and thorough manner.
Move, stack, wrap, and replace pallets on robot.
Bag packets into bags utilizing appropriate equipment/machinery.
Perform accurate hand-counting of packets.
Complete housekeeping duties regularly, following standard operating procedures and operational needs including but not limited to: sweeping, squeegeeing floors, cleaning process equipment, etc.
Report waste and scrap materials in an accurate and timely manner.
Verify that all materials match the specifications outlined in work orders.
Labeling containers to meet customer specifications and federal regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements:
This position prefers a high school diploma/GED.
3+ years of chemical production experience or the equivalent of training and experience.
3+ years manufacturing equipment operation experience.
Required Skills:
Proficient understanding of running manufacturing equipment.
Intermediate manufacturing experience required.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions, chemical labels, safety regulations, and company policies, etc.

Summary:

About The Job:
The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining site reliability by performing high-quality inspections, troubleshooting basic preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, and executing routine maintenance with no supervision. This role includes replacing basic components and assisting in minimizing unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance efforts.
What You'll Do:
Safety and Compliance
* Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and following MSHA/OSHA regulations.
* Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance
* Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns, which might involve component changes, tear-downs, and rebuilds.
* Inspecting and replacing key components that are crucial for maintaining efficient plant operations. Technicians must understand how replacing or servicing parts affects the overall performance and longevity of the equipment.
* Troubleshooting the root cause of simple issues quickly and efficiently. Maintenance Technicians should be able to fix minor equipment issues immediately to avoid larger breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
Plant Operations and Maintenance Requirements
* Monitor equipment performance, such as crushers, screens, and conveyors, to ensure equipment is operating at full capacity.
* Reviewing and updating equipment logs to identify patterns in maintenance needs and determine if any equipment is being overused or consistently breaking down, adjusting the operational schedule, or suggesting repairs before larger issues arise.
Skills You'll Need:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, preferably within the aggregate industry.
Certifications/Licenses: Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and MSHA/OSHA regulations.
* Strong understanding of plant operations and maintenance requirements
* Proficiency in conducting thorough inspections of all site areas
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic PM and maintenance issues
* Knowledge of component replacement and its impact on plant performance

What You'll Do:
Promote Safety. In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times.
Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment. Service, repair, adjust, and test all mobile equipment operating throughout the plant to maximize performance and limit downtime.
Inspect Equipment and Materials. Inspect all mobile equipment to identify and troubleshoot the cause of errors. Perform repairs to address problems when necessary.
Handle and Move Objects. Safely handle, install, position, and move parts, materials, and industrial hand tools throughout the shop and plant.
Document and Record Information. Ensure that correct and accurate documentation regarding all mobile equipment is completed daily and monthly. Enter and maintain service reports for all the mobile equipment in written or electronic form.
Operate Equipment. When necessary, assist in driving heavy equipment and vehicles throughout the plant to ensure efficient production.
Perform General Physical Activities. Perform physical activities that require moving your whole body and considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Valve repair has been a cornerstone of Pioneer's business for over 34 years and continues to grow. A Valve Technician would perform the essential duties of new valve assembly and valve repair / certification of various types of valves both in shop and onsite at customer facilities. Responsibilities and Duties:
Follow all Pioneer Safety and Quality procedures and regulations
Operate equipment - overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, propylene torch, etc.
Disassemble valve without damaging parts per the manufacturer's Installation & Operation Manual
Document and enter job data into ValvKeep database and document photos
Coordinate with office personnel on repair requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Maintain equipment in area, as required
Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
Return Valves/Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.
Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valve per manufacturer's repair manuals
May be required to help in field assignments
May be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
Operate motor vehicle, as required
Attend job and safety training, as necessary or required
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Desire a technical or trade school degree.
