Laboratory Support Technician Position Summary We are actively seeking a Laboratory Support Technician who will be responsible for the identification, collection, and transport of blood for patients of all ages. This associate will also have a wide range of clerical duties and must be responsible for the performance of waived testing procedures. Laboratory Support Technician Position Requirements Education * High school diploma or GED * Must be able to provide proof of attendance and successful completion of a phlebotomy course through a Nationally Accredited program * Possess a certification through a nationally approved accrediting agency or obtain it within one year of employment Required License/Certification Experience * Previous laboratory experience preferred. Laboratory Support Technician Schedule * The Laboratory is staffed seven days a week, twenty-four hours per day. * Personnel may be assigned to work mostly one shift or may have a rotational schedule consisting of duty on day, evening and night shifts. Both options may include weekends. * Rotational coverage of holidays. * Expected to work overtime and/or additional weekends in times of staffing shortages, emergencies and unexpected increases in workload. * Expected to respond in the event of a disaster. Mammogram Technologist Position Summary The Mammogram Technologist with the Mobile Mammogram Van performs mammography imaging procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas. This position will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the Mobile Mammogram Van. Mammogram Technologist Position Requirements Education * Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT. License and/or Certification * Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) and (M) Mammography. * Maryland and Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and Delaware. Experience * Minimum of three (3) years as a Mammogram Technologist is required. Mammogram Technologist Schedule * Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday * Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
