**POSITION SUMMARY:** Under the director of Environmental Services Manager and Administrative Supervisor, the Housekeeper cleans and services patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas, maintaining the standards of Lancaster General Hospital.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

+ Cleans all environmental surfaces including, but not limited to, furniture, beds, bathroom fixtures, window sills, door frames, vents, televisions, walls, light fixtures and windows, following universal precautions.

+ Dries and wet mops rooms, hallways, stairs, bathroom, and offices; spot cleans and vacuums carpets.

+ Gathers and disposes of refuse and soiled linen following universal precautions. Fills supply dispensers.

+ Contacts nursing personnel for discharges/transfers of patients, reporting available patient rooms and sending maintenance requests via computer system.

+ Wears and answers pager responding to routine requests.

+ Removes, washes, and rehangs cubicle curtains, shower curtains, and window treatments.

+ Possesses a working knowledge of universal precaution, MSDS, and compactor recycling operations, and applies as necessary.

**SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:** **The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:**

+ Keeps service closets and housekeeper carts properly stocked, orderly, and cleaned.

+ Reports hospital property and equipment in need of repair, transfers furniture, and spot cleans furniture, as necessary.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Assists physician during all invasive/ cardiology, vascular, and special procedures. Provides patient care to all invasive cardiology, vascular, and special procedures patients, including acquisition and radiographic care for the purpose of diagnostic and/or treatment of anatomic and physiological disorders related to their procedure. Performs and completes data reduction of all electrophysiology studies. Assists with implantation of stents, central lines, Implantable Cardioverter/Defibrillator (ICDS) and Pacemakers. Provides didactic and clinical training of new employees and students.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

+ Assists physicians, according to OR standards of practice, during procedures performed in the OR setting. Provides assistance to physician for all procedures, responsible for maintenance of sterile field, proper set-up, and handling and maintenance of equipment and injection of contrast media. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all procedures and care provided. Provides accurate reporting to other health care personnel. Provides basic and advanced life support according to AHA standards under direct supervision of physician or according to protocol. This includes cardioversion and defibrillation, starting intravenous lines, CPR, and airway support. Maintains ability to calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot biomedical electronic equipment pertinent to performing invasive procedures.

+ Provides care for critical and non-critical patients during the invasive procedure and assists with Post-procedure care as needed. Performs patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychologic and cognitive functions of patient. Performs all routine diagnostic fluoroscopic and therapeutic procedures through proper patient positioning, technique selection, administration of contrast media, application of immobilization of radiation protection devices according to department of policy and procedures. Analyzes the assessment data to assist in the patient plan of care and to coordinate care across disciplines. Utilizes critical thinking skills to troubleshoot, anticipate and resolve patient issues relevant to procedure. Performs accurate monitoring and recording of patient's hemodynamic status throughout procedure. Reduces and completes all data by applying knowledge of waveform analysis and hemodynamic principles.

+ Maintains knowledge of medications and administers all drugs in the Cath Lab formulary.

+ Participates in the on-call system within the laboratory for emergency and urgent studies on weekends, nights, and holidays with a 30 minute response time.

+ Properly handles and processes images.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety, electrical safety and universal precautions and utilizes safeguards at all times.

+ Participates in all EP/CATH/Vascular procedures with appropriate personnel.

+ Participates in the clinical instruction of students and staff on all procedures.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ High School diploma / GED.

+ Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS certified) or Graduate of accredited school of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology (RCIS certification is required within two (2) years of date of hire); **_OR_** Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) Certified or Graduate of a formal radiation technologists program with RT (R) (VI certification is required within two (2) years of date of hire); **_OR_** Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certified or Graduate of a certified school of Electrophysiology (EP) technology (RCES certification is required within two (2) years of date of hire).

**Job Description**

**HOURS:** FTE 1.0, Mon - Fri 7a -3.30p, No Weekends / No Holidays

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Performs related functions toward maintaining a perpetual inventory, including receiving and shipping of products. Maintains, distributes and assists with supplies and patient care equipment as required, fills supply and patient care orders as required. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of the Lancaster General Health System and provides operational support that includes supply and inventory control, patient care equipment preparation and processing.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

+ Disembarks and receives incoming freight, verifies product received. Accurately warehouses in-coming stock and equipment in assigned location. Accurately documents receiving information in Materials Management Information System (MMIS).

+ Inventories departmental stock and equipment locations utilizing hand held device or other tools, determines quantity to be replenished, generates a pick ticket and allocates in MMIS.

+ Delivers stock and equipment to departments and replenishes par locations. Keeps par locations clean, systematically organized and within storage standards.

+ Identifies trend in supply and equipment usage for departments and collaborates with department resource team leader to ensure PAR levels are appropriate for assigned locations.

+ Delivers inventory, non-inventory, special / urgent need supply orders, carts and equipment to appropriate department. Unloads supplies and equipment in an orderly fashion. Obtains delivery confirmation signatures where applicable.

+ Upon notification of product or equipment recalls, investigates all inventory locations for effected items. Removes items, and replaces with unaffected items. Stages effected items for return to vendor.

+ Accurately utilizes MMIS, Lawson, ehealth and/or Censitrac applications where appropriate for supply and equipment transactions.

+ Removes boxes, packaging materials and other debris from the department and service areas to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment.

+ Assesses stock expiration dates and pulls product from inventory as appropriate. Rotates stock in assigned locations.

+ Communicates with customers to assist in resolving departmental supply and equipment issues and concerns.

+ Accurately pulls department order from storeroom or patient care equipment inventory.

+ Performs cycle counting and other inventory control processes as assigned.

**SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:** **The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:**

+ Reports discrepancies, problems and concerns to management using proper chain of command.

+ Demonstrates all computer applications accurately; consistently follows tracking system procedures for equipment tracking.

+ Maintains, delivers, and collects patient care equipment to and from the requesting departments.

+ Replenishes patient care carts upon receipt of delivery to department, maintains ehealth ordering system for patient care supplies, credits and charges are complete and accurate.

+ Cleans and processes soiled equipment from healthcare units and stages for reuse.

+ Places repair items in appropriate area and ensures loaner items are available as required.

+ Prepares shipping labels, packs and ships outbound materials.

+ Assigns and affixes asset tags when appropriate.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**POSITION SUMMARY:** To provide nursing services to patients at a provider's office. Patient care includes care to patients in following age group: pediatric (infant to 12 years), adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18 to 64 years) and geriatric (over 64 years).

**POSITION SUMMARY:** Assume responsibility and accountability as defined by the American Nurses Association standards of nursing practice

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ RN licensure is required, issued by the PA Board of Nursing.

**During the COVID Pandemic, new graduates will be permitted to start employment with a Temporary Practice Permit issued by the PA Board of Nursing.**

+ **New hires who start their employment with a temporary practice permit must sit for their NCLEX within 60 days of starting in their RN role.**

+ **If and when testing centers are re-opened, we will revert back to our prior policy of no longer accepting nurses with temporary practice permits**

+ **A graduate registered nurse may only practice professional nursing under supervision and if the graduate registered nurse holds a current temporary practice permit. Supervision means that a licensed registered nurse is physically present in the area or unit where the graduate registered nurse is practicing.**

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. For Magnet designated RN positions, BSN or higher level nursing degree is required for incumbents based upon previously established parameters; or within two (2) years of placement in position for incumbents who started after 07/01/2020.

+ **If applicable** , New Graduate RNs will be required to successfully complete the Nurse Residency Program.

+ CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support, formerly Healthcare Provider (AHA Heart Saver courses for CPR **are not** accepted).

+ A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program.

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Lancaster General Hospital is seeking an Associate Director for the Osteopathic Core Faculty Team . This position will serve as a core teaching faculty physician for the Family Medicine Residency program with a specific focus on Osteopathic practice, principles and curricular development in collaboration with the Director of Osteopathic Education.

The Associate Director will serve as a faculty advisor by conducting formal evaluations, counsel residents, and coordinate research audits of assigned team of residents.
