Essential Functions:
Consistently delivers exceptional guest service by welcoming individuals with a smile, offering a warm farewell, assessing their satisfaction, and exhibiting a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic demeanor.
Provides fast and flawless service to every customer.
Cleans slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, hotel, office, or common areas.
Sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur.
Cleans any biohazardous materials when it occurs.
Properly uses cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure safety.
Performs laundry/linen receipt.
Cleans and monitors customer and employee bathrooms.
Empties garbage on casino floor and other back of house areas.
Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same.
Is open to coaching, makes efforts to improve job performance, and learn from mistakes.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Using Spotlight Behaviors by initiating a friendly greeting to the guest as they enter the lounge and inform them of all the services provided by the 7 Stars Lounge.
Lead the staff in the Seven Stars Lounge, by setting priorities and assuring that all guest's needs are met in a prompt and professional manner, by coordinating with the Seven Stars front Concierge desk.
Maintain clean working bars in compliance with property and regulatory standards.
Must be visible at all times in the room.
Must have the ability to engage in professional conversation, and the ability to act upon requests, complaints and any other situations that may occur.
Must display the knowledge of the Casino's special events and player events.
Takes drink orders, prepares and serves alcoholic beverages within 2 minutes of guest's arrival and maintain complete knowledge of menus and beverage lists.
Cap ashtrays with no more then 1 cigarette butt per ashtray.
Busses tables in a timely manner (within 2 minutes when guest is finished).
Maintains the cleanliness of the lounge and bar area by coordinating with the appropriate staff designated to the room.
Ensuring food products are of high standards in freshness and appearance. Replenish items as needed.
Follows proper procedures in food sanitation.
Accepts payment for orders and provide accurate change.
Demonstrates a positive and upbeat attitude through all that occurs in and out of the lounge.
Completes all assigned side work and stocks butler lounge pantries and bar area.
Assists in the preparation of meals for guests.
All other job duties as assigned.

Essential Function:
* Provides timely, friendly, and courteous service.

* Obtains the food when prepared, delivers orders to the respective guests, observing service standard guidelines.

* Must have superior customer service skills.
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demand:
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
* This position is physical in nature and requires the ability to balance and carry large trays weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver in order to clean banquet areas, organize stock, and restock trays.
* This position works in an environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, and noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
* The position requires 10% standing and 90% walking.
* Requires very frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead.
* Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
