ABOUT THE POSITION The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking orders, order verification, using RF scanner, and safely completing duties relating to materials handling. Candidates must be available to work a schedule from Monday 8:30am - 7:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 10:30am - 7:30pm, and Friday 1:00pm - 7:30pm. Essential Responsibilities Reads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designed areas. Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. Weighs and counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Prepares parcels for mailing. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Practices safe work habits. Completes other related duties as assigned, customary to department and role. Required Education and Experience Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer orders, and packing and shipping instructions. Able to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Able to use a RF scanner and computer.
