DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Legal Assistant 2, you will provide high level legal support and administrative expertise surrounding legal documents, while also assisting with drafting, formatting, and finalization of documents for the Legal Operations Unit. You will assist with the management of specialized internal legal systems for submission of annual and quarterly reporting, both internally and externally, working directly with and in compliance with all internal legal case management programmatic systems. In addition, you will be responsible for daily legal document delivery and pickup, to include copying and distributing legal documents to the appropriate parties. Your role will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining all trial and pretrial matters and obtaining, assembling, and organizing documents pertinent to litigation and settlement. Work Schedule and Additional Information: * Full-time employment * Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. * Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. Transcribes notes of verbatim testimony; completes a separate sheet of names, addresses, terms used and other factual data from the testimony to ensure accuracy of spellings, language, etc; proofreads rough drafts and/or utilizes a proofreader at individual reporter's expense; makes corrections needed to produce timely and final transcripts to comply with Rule 4000.
