The Retail Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions. What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
* Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
* Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
* Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
* Maintain receiving and shipping records, delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts records
* Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
* Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
* Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
* Must be able to operate heavy machinery (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

Used Car Buyer Purpose:
The Used Car Buyer will have a primary responsibility of executing a process which involves prospecting, appraising, and presenting offers to current vehicle owners with the goal of purchasing their vehicles from multiple sources for resale.

Interprets and translated technician's comments into damage codes/operation codes.
Ensures all correct parts have been charged and if necessary re-priced.
Locates damage codes for Warranty repairs.
Flaggs the appropriate technicians for the hours earned on the operations they performed according to manufacturer policies and procedures.
Supports the Billing clerk with customer pay internal and external repair orders.
Works alongside the Warranty Administrator to check repair orders against the vehicle's service history to avoid making duplicate claims and technician receiving double payment.
Stays a breast on product changes, new products and warranties.
Assist the Service Department, as needed.
Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management.
Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year dealership service administration experience desried.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records; dealership warranty and administrative policies and procedures; mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and application.
Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
