The Addiction Counselor position at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all of its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is held by someone who is innovative and committed to learning and developing their counseling skill, working and collaborating with an innovative, inter-disciplinary team. Responsibilities $3,000 sign on bonus In person schedule Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Provides case management services which support a positive treatment outcome Serves as therapist in IOP and continued care groups, as well as provide individual therapy as needed for SUD and/or mental health disorders Organizes and makes educational presentations related to behavioral health and recovery Develop patient-centered treatment plans based on results from the screening tools and bio psychosocial assessment Collaborates with medical staff and treatment team as a whole Consults with family members and referral sources in order to coordinate patient care Ensures adequate case management services are identified and addressed Responsible for maintaining electronic health records which include documentation of treatment activity and progress Ensures that patient records are accurate, comprehensive and meets regulatory standards Qualifications Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills Is engaging with patients, while promoting and maintaining accountability Flexible and creative team player Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a program that will grow and expand over the next several years Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the SUD field. CAC preferred and/or have ADT Trainee Status in the State of Maryland. Must be able to work with individuals with co-occurring mental illness and/or substance abuse in the community as well as in groups. This position also will provide transportation to and from community activities and AA/NA meetings. Developing monthly activity calendar identifying community resources to support sobriety and resources.Please apply for immediate consideration.
