Peoples Church company history timeline
In April 1954, Peoples Church conducted its first worship service at the current location at 4704 13th Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. Later the Elmes Center was constructed to accommodate the congregation and the needs of the community.
From the 1960’s on many more churches were planted or assisted as they began: Tri-County AG, Vineyard Cincinnati, Crossroads.
A new Sanctuary was constructed and completed in 1991; and today remains as a witness to the legacy and commitment of Peoples Church to the community.
The Peoples Church, founded in 1998, has a rich history.
Cooper started the church in his home in 2002 with longtime friend the Rev.
The congregation bought land at its current location on Britton Road between the Broadway Extension and Kelley Avenue and opened its new facility in spring 2006.
4 on Outreach magazine’s 2010 list of the fastest-growing churches in the country.
Peoples Church East Cincinnati opened in the spring of 2018.
