Job Description:
Provides medication administration for residents.
Takes orders, documents orders, orders medications, receives medications, and administers medications.
Performs all procedures of good nursing care such as taking vital signs, giving enemas and suppositories, etc.
Performs excellent universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures in order to keep residents and staff safe.
Communicates with physicians and other health care professionals as needed to ensure quality nursing and medication orders.
Be alert to all needs of residents reporting immediately any changes in residents status to doctor, family, and administration.
Job Requirements:
Certified Nurse's Aide, or have completed the 75 hour course as well as completed the company Medication Administration course.

Position Overview

Reports to: Laboratory Manager/Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Perform moderate- and high-complexity testing in Chemistry, Hematology, UA, and Immunology.
Verify and release accurate results in alignment with turnaround-time expectations.
Flag and report critical values; communicate results to providers and nursing staff as required.
Maintain specimen integrity; assist with accessioning, labeling, processing, and limited phlebotomy.
Execute and document QC/QA, calibrations, proficiency testing, and corrective actions.
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot analyzers; coordinate vendor support when needed.
Monitor supply levels and maintain clean, safe, CLIA/CAP-compliant work areas.
Support inspection readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
QualificationsRequired
Florida Medical Laboratory Technician license (active or in progress per state regulations).

Position Summary:
Independently performs complex and sophisticated laboratory analysis according to established laboratory protocols and procedures to include, but not limited to: patient test results; calibration of equipment; quality control; preventative maintenance; troubleshooting of instruments; method validation studies; result calculations; etc. Provides meaningful data that may be used by a physician in determining the presence, extent, cause and treatment of disease. Ensures accurate test results and communication when appropriate. Assists in the training of new staff, competency of staff, and education of students performing departmental clinical rotations. The work includes the use of microscopes, chemicals, computers, complex laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Education/Experience:
Meets the requirements to be licensed as a Medical Technologist (NAC 652.420) or Specialty Technologist (NAC 652.483) in the State of Nevada.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
A valid State of Nevada license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Specialty Technologist is required or temporary employment for a period NOT exceeding six (6) months may be granted with documentation that the application for license process has been initiated. This position is responsible for supervision of Quality Lab Techs, ensuring accurate execution of analytical tests-including fat, salt (AgNO3 titration), and moisture analyses-and upholding the integrity of lab procedures, documentation, and quality systems. The Lab Supervisor serves as a key liaison between the Laboratory, Production, and Quality Management, driving continuous improvement and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Lead daily laboratory operations and serve as the primary point of contact for analytical support within the facility
- Monitor, mentor, and train laboratory technicians on testing procedures, safety practices, and documentation protocols
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of the laboratory technicians who work on off-shifts
- Perform the duties of the laboratory technician during 1st shift hours
- Perform and review routine and advanced compositional testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products:

Responsibilities Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Laboratory Site or designee, obtain correct specimens and volumes according to current procedures. Insure that all specimens are appropriately and accurately labeled. Process and deliver specimens to correct laboratory departments. Enter all specimen and patient information in LIS or department logs. Generate accurate reports in a timely fashion and distribute appropriately. Perform phlebotomy on inpatient, outreach clients, home draws, nursing homes, and outreach locations. Maintain equipment and instrumentation. Qualifications
Equivalent to successful completion of a college-based, nationally accredited, phlebotomy program or a Medical Laboratory Assistant program.
Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC or equivalent) is required within two years from date of hire.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Job DescriptionDescription:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Lab Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations in our food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supervision of Quality Lab Techs, ensuring accurate execution of analytical tests-including fat, salt (AgNO3 titration), and moisture analyses-and upholding the integrity of lab procedures, documentation, and quality systems. The Lab Supervisor serves as a key liaison between the Laboratory, Production, and Quality Management, driving continuous improvement and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Lead daily laboratory operations and serve as the primary point of contact for analytical support within the facility
- Monitor, mentor, and train laboratory technicians on testing procedures, safety practices, and documentation protocols
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of the laboratory technicians who work on off-shifts
- Perform the duties of the laboratory technician during 1st shift hours
- Perform and review routine and advanced compositional testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products:
Fat content (e.g., Soxhlet extraction, Mojonnier method)
Salt content via silver nitrate (AgNO3) titration
Moisture analysis using oven-drying and rapid moisture analyzers
- Accurately document and review analytical results, validate, verify, and approve analytical data; investigate deviations and initiate corrective actions
- Oversee instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting per SOPs and manufacturer recommendations to ensure optimal lab performance
- Manage laboratory cleaning schedules and contribute to housekeeping of the lab, apparatus, and reusable supplies
- Coordinate lab activities with production schedules and ensure timely release of test results
- Maintain and improve lab SOPs and quality documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, etc.)
- Support and lead internal audits, participate in external inspections, and prepare documentation as required
- Support root cause investigations for non-conforming results or customer complaints
- Monitor inventory of reagents, standards, and supplies; place orders and manage vendor relationships as needed
- Housekeeping of the laboratory, apparatus, and reusable supplies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Assist with proficiency testing, method validations, and inter-lab comparisons as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience in food manufacturing, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
- Proficiency in gravimetric, volumetric, and titrimetric techniques
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory safety, food quality systems, and GFSI certification standards
- Experience with AgNO3 titration for salt analysis, rapid moisture analyzers, and fat extraction methods
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 principles, method validation, and inter-laboratory comparisons
- Experience managing laboratory inventory and coordinating external lab services
Food Safety Responsibilities:
- Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)
- Participate in company GMP walks
- Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring
Working Conditions:
- Primarily lab-based work within a food production environment
- Exposure to food allergens, temperature variations, and occasionally wet/slippery conditions
- PPE required as per company policy
- Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 - 80 degrees
Physical Requirements:
- Operate standard lab and office equipment
- Reach with hands and arms
- Lift up to 25 pounds
