About the role - Operations Supervisor (Winnemucca, Nevada)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for an Operations Supervisor within our Specialty Mining Chemicals team.
The Operations Supervisor will lead and drive all operational activities to ensure sustainable improvement of critical business processes, systems, and technology to improve overall operational goals. Working directly and indirectly with all levels of Orica employees and external stakeholders, the role will focus primarily on the overall management and tracking of all operational functions for both solutions and solids. Emphasis is placed on safety and health, protection of the environment and economics, converting raw materials into liquid sodium cyanide and solid cyanide, and ensuring timely shipments to the customers.
What you will be doing
Develop people and ensure that all team members are properly trained. Set up coaching/performance improvement plans and identify/implement development opportunities. Checking and reporting that all employees are properly trained.
Supervise, train, and develop subordinate staff in following standard operating procedures.
Advise senior management of issues and/or risks to operations or supply for effective risk management.
Supervise all day-to-day duties and activities of the specific team/process/substream.
Act as back-up for the Business Process Excellence Lead for follow-up meetings and reporting with GBS and Orica Management.
Manage specific team, ensure alignment, reporting, and communication, including appropriate workload allocation, implementation of appropriate backup systems, monitoring of volume and productivity.

Project Management
Lead, drive, track, and manage the timely execution and delivery of all operational duties.
Provide guidance to the operational task owners of the individual operational tasks to ensure each project meets the planned deliverables.
Handle overall reporting of shift results.
Data Analytics
Provide the Leadership Team with the information/analysis/recommendations/suggestions needed to make decisions about strategies and tasks related to operational efficiency and performance improvement.
Change Management
Work with Workstream Leads, Supervisors, and other Orica Employees to deal with minor to complex scale organizational changes in their workstreams, analyze changes, and determine their impact on business processes.
Analyze overall operational tasks and workstream-specific action plans to introduce major or minor organizational changes with a minimum amount of disruption.

Supervise day-to-day business process excellence activities for up to 10 employees.
Rotating day and night shifts: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Your qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant experience within process or manufacturing-specific teams, including 3 years of direct people management experience.
1-3 years of process management training and coaching experience.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer service oriented.
Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, integrity, accountability, and good problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and logical, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a perpetual record integrity in distribution to ensure inventory accuracy through the administration of the cycle count program and the thorough analysis and response to miscellaneous issues and receipts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards.
* Monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
* Implement and effective product locator system and update as necessary.

* Oversee scheduled shifts and evaluating the working of inventory staff and subordinates.

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a perpetual record integrity in distribution to ensure inventory accuracy through the administration of the cycle count program and the thorough analysis and response to miscellaneous issues and receipts. The Inventory Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the functions performed by inventory associates and other such staff.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards.
* Monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
* Implement and effective product locator system and update as necessary.
* Delegating work and responsibility to subordinates.
* Oversee scheduled shifts and evaluating the working of inventory staff and subordinates.
* Analyzes daily cycle counts and reconciles any discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.

* Configure/operate WMS (Manhattan SCALE/Active) for locations, replenishment, RF, and lot/batch tracking; partner with IT for enhancements.
* Enforce FEFO and documented controls for expiry, quarantine/holds, damages, and returns; maintain recall readiness with full lot genealogy.
* Author SOPs and training compliant with FDA cosmetics guidance and ISO 22716 for storage hygiene, documentation, and traceability.
* Publish IC KPIs and trends; lead cross‑functional huddles to align Receiving/Picking/QA/Finance.

As the Inventory Supervisor you will lead the Inventory Control function for a 180,000 sq ft DC with ~28,000 locations and ~5,000 SKUs of skincare products. You will own cycle counting strategy, lot/expiry management (FEFO), and WMS data integrity to sustain accuracy while meeting cosmetics GMP expectations.
+ Design and run ABC/control group/random cycle counts; investigate variances and drive CAPA to reduce shrink and adjustments.
+ Configure/operate WMS (Manhattan SCALE/Active) for locations, replenishment, RF, and lot/batch tracking; partner with IT for enhancements.
+ Enforce FEFO and documented controls for expiry, quarantine/holds, damages, and returns; maintain recall readiness with full lot genealogy.
+ Author SOPs and training compliant with FDA cosmetics guidance and ISO 22716 for storage hygiene, documentation, and traceability.
+ Publish IC KPIs and trends; lead cross‑functional huddles to align Receiving/Picking/QA/Finance.

The Fire Sprinkler Service Supervisor is responsible for the proper coordination, execution, and follow-up of service jobs. A Supervisor of Tool Management oversees the inventory, maintenance, and distribution of tools and equipment at all facilities, ensuring they are properly maintained, stored, handled, repaired, and accounted for. Key duties include managing check-in/check-out procedures, coordinating repairs, maintaining records, enforcing safety protocols, and supervising a team to support production operations.

This position will be responsible for performing on-scene supervisory direction to shipboard projects, completion of status reports, progress evaluations, condition found reports, and proper/thorough objective quality evidence (OQE) documentation.
Position Responsibilities:
* This position is responsible for the completion of upgrades, maintenance, and/or repairs that entail any or all aspects of Hull, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic equipment on naval (USN, USCG, MSC, etc.) or commercial vessels.
* Provide feedback on current and draft maintenance packages to foster incorporation of lessons learned and continuous improvement.
* Possess the ability to clearly interpret NAVSEA Standard Items and government requirement documents.
* Able to complete training / certification for CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and complete training and/ or qualifications required to support assigned collateral duties.
* Knowledge of Navy AC (60 and 400 Hz) and DC electrical systems.
* Hi Voltage (4180 V) maintenance experience is preferred.
* Knowledge of Navy electrical and electronic systems.
* Able to independently perform RMMCO Check-In and WAF process.
* Familiar with US Navy tag-out, WAF programs and applicable Naval procedures / instructions.
* Maintain Quality Work Instruction (QWI) and associated OQE (Objective Quality Evidence).
* Implements and monitor OSHA safety requirements.
* Demonstrate the ability to supervise work teams in the following:
* Perform preventive maintenance to electrical equipment using Maintenance Procedure Cards and QWIs;
* Perform Machinery Alterations to US Navy surface assets and submarines (non-nuclear);
* Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and restore operation to inoperative electrical equipment;
* Locate circuit failures and replace parts and connections;
* Test protective circuitry and insulation resistance;
* Clean electrical equipment and parts, reassemble, and operationally test equipment.
* Knowledge of electrical systems such as switchboards, switchgear, distribution panels, controls, etc.
* Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring Instrumentation.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions and manuals.
Position Requirements:
* US Citizen.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance are preferred.
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Minimum ten (10) years' experience in marine maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, repair and upgrades.
* Navy 'A' / 'C' school(s) or completion of a vocational, maritime, or journeyman training program.
* Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
* Must pass drug screening.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
