Logistics Operator III is responsible for various assignments, duties, and tasks within the Warehouse which, may or may not require the use of a PIT Forklift to complete. * Load outbound Product and, or Deposit items by transporting them from their assigned Storage Area within the Warehouse to the Loading Docks and placing them on the appropriate Trailers in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner

Job Overview
The Space Management Specialist is responsible for setting up new accounts as well as resetting existing accounts with displays, racks, and point of sale materials. * Fill all shelves, racks, displays, and equipment and places proper POS items
* Inspects work area for cleanliness, verifies sets are in accordance with the plan-o-gram

* Adjusts any shelves, moves products, displays, or racks as required
* Prepares and loads onto their company vehicle the necessary equipment and point of sale materials to complete the work assignments for each customer

* After assignments, review the complete set with store contact and have them sign off on the reset request form
* Removes and replaces any supplies and equipment that are needed to complete the reset of displays

Essential Responsibilities
Complete machine set-up.
Load tool and tool holders as required.
Perform Jaw cutting and re-cutting.
Set fixture offsets as required.
Verify correct tool hardware, tool diameter, tool radius, drill length, and end mills.
Verify accuracy of tool offset changes as needed.
Perform periodic inspections of calibration.
Read and process parts and visual braze inspection.
Maintain accurate work records.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
Support our team concept and learn/perform other duties as required.
Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal.
Follow and promote safe work practices.
Support LEAN initiatives.
Lift light to medium weight in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and/or awkward work positions.
Required qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ year of machining experience
CNC Machining
Desirable characteristics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to read, understand, and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations.
Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
Milling and Turning experience

Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Investigate and apply new technology in support of site growth plans.
Assist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective action.
Conduct training, process planning, evaluate operating methods, select controls, and specifies tools, fixtures and gages necessary to repeatedly build conforming hardware.
Maintain the manufacturing engineering system on part routing and standards.
Co-lead efforts to maintain and improve shop floor quality controls and best practices with area Product Team Leaders
Execute manufacturing related quality planning activities.
Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated area.
Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward benchmarked, best of class performance.
Travel up to 10% or as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing Engineering Experience)
Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing Engineering Experience
GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted.
Must be willing to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday weekend shifts
Desired Characteristics
Strong background in the interpretation of engineering drawings / specifications and manufacturing processes
Process control, improvement & escape prevention, technical requirements & process control, GD&T, blueprint reading, problem solving, lean manufacturing.
Direct experience with CNC machining and programming resistance welding, TIG welding, vertical/horizontal lathe, milling, heat treat, brazing, fabrication.
Experience with machining tool and fixture designs and/or improvement
Ability to make data driven decisions and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools.
Knowledge of safety agency regulations, ISO / Quality procedures
Established project management skills.
