    Overview The Automation System Process Controller is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the automated case picking (ACP) system to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient operation. This role requires strong attention to detail, system knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot, validate, and correct issues in real time. This role helps ensure that inventory and orders are entered correctly, system reports are reviewed, and any issues affecting product flow are identified and escalated for resolution. The Automation System Process Controller acts as a key connection between the warehouse floor, system operators, and support teams. As an Automation System Process Controller, you'll play a vital role in keeping the automated warehouse system running smoothly. By ensuring data accuracy, supporting other process controllers, and helping resolve issues quickly, you'll directly contribute to efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities SYSTEM OPERATION & MONITORING Safely operate and monitor warehouse automation machine center(s), including any GUIs (Graphic User Interfaces), to ensure efficiency. Perform daily system start-up tasks, including uploading inventory, importing orders, and releasing work. Manage the releasing of routes/loads into the system throughout the shift to ensure system balance and consistent flow of work. Monitor system dashboards to help identify jams, alarms, or product flow issues. Respond quickly to stoppages, jams, or equipment issues to keep production on track. INVENTORY & ORDER MANAGEMENT Maintain accurate inventory records, including adjustments for substitutions, breakage, or returns. Track and verify order status to ensure shipments are complete and on time. Assist with new product setup and validation of packaging and inventory details. Support warehouse teams by communicating updates on product shortages, substitutions, or replenishment needs. DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING Maintain records/logs and complete all paperwork/documentation associated with start-up, operation (including downtime), and shut-down activities. Print and manage container labels, pallet tags, and route paperwork. Keep records organized and provide reports or updates to leadership as required.
