This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products.

The salary range for this position is $101,000 - $135,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.

Job Overview
The Switcher II-CDL is responsible for the transport of full and empty trailers between the docks and the designated drop parking locations in the "Trailer Yard" to support the inbound unloading and the outbound loading warehouse operations in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This position will perform inspections of the trailers for any discovered issues of mechanical maintenance needs before moving, tagging out any trailers requiring attention, and communicating any discovered issues to warehouse management and, or fleet maintenance. This position may also occasionally be required to operate a forklift and, or other PIT equipment within the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Transport full and empty trailers between the docks, public roadways, and designated drop parking spaces
* Inspect trailers before transporting to identify issues of mechanical maintenance needs and, or potential safety hazards
* Maintain organization of the trailer yard to ensure the efficient and safe transport of trailers.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and warehouse
* Perform other tasks including pallet building as determined and requested by management.
* May perform duties other than switching as assigned
