Day to day you will: Work with a high degree of independence while performing PMs and repairs Utilize leading edge technology and programs including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more! Document technical data for assigned projects in alignment with engineering policies and procedures
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance First Time Yield and delivery performance
Collaborate with Design and Materials Engineers to improve manufacturability and producibility
Conduct supplier audits, identify gaps in quality systems, and drive corrective actions to closure
Solve problems using technical expertise, analytic thinking, and collaboration across teams
Utilize specialized knowledge within the chemical process function
Partner with suppliers in developing high performing chemical processes
Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in Engineering or as a Chemical Processing Level III)
At least an additional 3 years of experience with Chemical and/or Metal Finishing Processes
Desired Characteristics:
Significant Experience as Process Engineer / Process Owner over Chemical Cleaning, Chemical Etching, Chemical Stripping, Plating, Anodizing, Paint, and DFL processes
Familiarity with Nadcap System and Audit requirements for Chemical Processing
Advanced degree in Material Science, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
