Summary of Essential Job Duties
Provides supervision for all CU environmental program field staff within the state.
Assists in the recruitment and selection of new personnel in accordance with CU human resource policies and in collaboration with the Directors of Human Resources and Environmental Services.
Provides and ensures that newly hired personnel are properly trained and oriented in the: provision of technical assistance and training of small community officials and utility personnel; all contract requirements of environmental state program and federal assistance contracts, grants and sub-agreements; all CU and environmental program policies, procedures, and standard operational methodology.
Assigns project referrals to appropriate field staff personnel. Monitors all program activities within the state to ensure that programmatic goals and objectives are being met effectively, and that workload is properly distributed among staff within the state.

Position Overview
The Bilingual (Spanish) Operations Supervisor supports the Operations Manager overseeing and directing the various Operations Team Members who are responsible for sorting and separating raw materials. Summary of Responsibilities
Operates the facility in full compliance with USM's Safety Program, EPA Regulations, & OSHA Standards; coordinates any other facets of the program with outside safety consultants while helping to facilitate ongoing training with an in-house safety liaison
Supports all Wire Processing and De-Ox related activity
Develops the strategic thought process and intuition of the key team members who lead each department; this will encompass developing a thorough operator training program in the future
Implements policy in reference to attendance, punctuality, and equipment damage and disciplines, when necessary, if expectations are not met
Understands our feedstock by given customer segments: Manufacturing, Demo & Contractors, Facility, Scrap Recyclers, Recycling Center, Obsolete / Repair Service Centers and Utilities
Coordinates cost effective preventative maintenance, and overall upkeep of operations; upholds pre-inspection system standards and other proactive measures
Responds to Sales Team inquiries regarding the scope of our services and overall capabilities
Possesses the vision to profitably expand volumes and help grow the business into the future
Establishes low turnover due to a superior workforce
Supports development of risk mitigation initiatives

Position Overview:
Our Shift Supervisors oversee daily security operations on their designated shift at Portland International Jetport (PWM), ensuring all contract requirements, safety protocols, and airport security procedures are followed. Supervisors are responsible for managing assigned security personnel, coordinating with airport and federal stakeholders, maintaining compliance with TSA and City of Portland regulations, and ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and service delivery.
This position requires exceptional leadership, situational awareness, and communication skills, as well as the ability to respond effectively to incidents in a fast-paced, public environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct the activities of assigned security officers on their designated shift.
Monitor post coverage and ensure compliance with airport security and access control procedures.
Conduct patrols of terminal, perimeter, and parking areas, ensuring officers perform required duties.
Ensure accurate completion of daily logs, reports, and inspection documentation.
Provide ongoing and monthly training to assigned officers.
Coordinate manpower for special assignments, alert-level changes, and VIP or emergency escort requests.
Respond to and assist with incidents, emergencies, and customer escalations, ensuring timely notification to the Airport Operations Center (AOC).
Provide coaching, verbal feedback, and performance documentation as necessary.
Attend PWM quarterly security meetings and assist in company quality assurance initiatives.
Serve as liaison between Global Elite Group management and Airport Operations staff.
Conduct or assist with Aviation Worker Screening (AWS), vehicle, and product inspections.
Ensure all uniform and appearance standards are upheld.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid Maine Class C driver's license.
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience, with 1 year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain airport-issued identification media (SIDA badge) and successfully pass a 10-year TSA background investigation and fingerprinting process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance, demeanor, and ability to lead by example.
