**Title:**

Systems Performance Analyst

The System Performance Analyst will work as a member of the PEO-MS Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office System Engineering Directorate team to assess system performance in support of Army AMD missions. The position will emphasize the utilization of high-fidelity system level models and simulations (M&S) to conduct systems performance analyses to provide government customers and domestic / international users assessments of system capabilities against a variety of world-wide threats. The position will require development of tools, reports and technical briefings to leadership. This position will directly support analysis of System Modeling and Simulation Analysis of current and developmental AMD systems.

**Basic Qualifications:**

The candidate must be familiar with AMD concepts with specific system engineering knowledge. Experience with one (1) or more of the IBCS, PATRIOT, or LTAMDS systems is preferred. The candidate must have experience in analysis and verification of system requirements, system simulation execution. Experience in the analysis of system performance data of two (2) or more of the following AMD areas is preferred: surveillance detection and track management, threat evaluation, engagement processing, defense plan evaluation and optimization, sensor coverage evaluation, interceptor guidance, and intercept lethality. The candidate must be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset, be capable of navigating and extracting data from simulation output using modeling tools, and be proficient with at least one scripting or programming language (Java, Python or Visual Basic a plus) to assist in developing and maintaining simulation execution and data analysis tasks. Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems for analysis, data processing and system performance report generation is preferred.

Candidate must be a US citizen, must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area (or willing to relocate), must have a four-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics, and must have a minimum of 5 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

**Other Qualifications:**

The ideal candidate will have direct experience with IBCS or PATRIOT. Experience with software analysis tools, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Model Based Systems Engineering are a plus. Enthusiasm, independent critical thinking and a team attitude are important, as well as the ability to respond to quick turn requests.

**Security Requirements:**

Candidate must have a current Secret security clearance.

**Other Requirements:**

Some travel will occasionally be required in support of customer requirements. Huntsville facility on-site support required.
