Perfect fit for candidates that are involved in the community with youth and families. After recruitment is completed you will work with these clients. The Mental Performance Coach is responsible for picking up clients, home visits, implementing the Treatment Plan for children in a public environment, and returning clients to their home. The Mental Performance Coach position is a full-time Second Shift position working with youth and adults during after school hours and on the weekends (Day hours in the summer). This position offers the flexibility to create your own schedule based on the client's availability. Common client availability generally includes late afternoon, evenings, and weekends. Hours are usually 1pm-9pm Monday-Friday and during the day on Saturdays during the school year. If school-based, primary hours can be during school hours. This position may be for you if you are committed, comfortable driving from home to home and in the field with families rather than being in an office environment, and passionate about working with youth while seeking to make a positive impact in their lives. Many of our clients are in the Cincinnati area. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required. Experience working with youth and/or adults is preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Acts as a liaison, client advocate, and coordinator among those involved with the client's care ● Provides ongoing education to client and family members in the form of verbal and/or written consultation or educational materials ● Carries a caseload and provides timely and accurate record keeping and reports as required for assisting clients ● Participates as appropriate in staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions ● Meet clients and families at their homes, schools, libraries and/or other community facilities ● Meet with school officials, justice system officials, and health practitioners with clients as needed ● Complete progress notes after meeting with clients within 24 hours ● Maintains strict confidentiality ● Demonstrates and abides by Core Values and operating principles. ● Ensures individual weekly goals are met. ● Works with Counselors to develop youth retention strategies. ● Ensures that all Personally Identifiable Information is securely stored at all times. ● Conducts direct recruitment activities including speaking. ● Attends, exhibits and presents at designated events including neighborhood and county activities/fairs, job fairs. Resource fairs and other events as directed by management. ● Develops and maintains linkages with referral sources such as colleges, school districts, human services agencies, youth organizations, recreational centers, national, state and local agencies to identify potential students and conduct outreach activities. ● Interviews potential candidates to obtain information to support eligibility and complete applicant folders. ● Coordinates and maintains communications with management for coordinated support of outreach and placement. ● Completes all required documentation in individual folders for enrollment per company requirements. ● Cultivates and maintains a climate on site that is free of harassment, intimidation and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and participants to work and learn. ● Performs other duties as assigned. The Role We're looking for a Golf Coach who is passionate about helping others improve their game while delivering an exceptional experience. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Performance and plays a key role in developing lasting relationships with our members and guests. As a Five Iron Coach, you'll balance high-quality instruction with engagement time, working closely with our Social and Performance Teams to introduce golfers to lessons, fittings, and memberships. As you grow your client base and achieve performance goals, you'll transition into a full-time instruction role, supported by our Coach Development Program. Key Responsibilities * Deliver best-in-class golf instruction through individual and group lessons for players of all skill levels. * Utilize TrackMan and other Five Iron technologies to provide data-driven, personalized coaching and custom club fittings in partnership with Callaway Tour Fitting. * Actively engage guests during Golf Experience Engagement Time - promoting lessons, swing evaluations, fittings, and memberships. * Build and retain a loyal client base by creating welcoming, memorable, and performance-driven experiences. * Represent Five Iron Golf at corporate events, delivering fun, high-energy instructional sessions. * Maintain a consistent lesson schedule that meets productivity goals and performance expectations. * Leverage social media to promote your coaching services and the Five Iron brand. * Conduct junior clinics and support community outreach programs to grow the game. * Follow up with students to convert swing evaluations into ongoing lessons and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). * Serve as an on-floor Performance Expert, engaging with members to elevate their overall golf experience. * Participate in ongoing education and certification programs to continually sharpen your coaching skills. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of golf industry experience or graduation from a PGM program. * Proven one-on-one and group coaching experience preferred. * Strong understanding of swing mechanics, ball flight laws, and launch monitor data. * Proficient with video analysis and comfortable with golf technology tools. * Excellent communication skills - able to connect with golfers of all skill levels and explain complex concepts clearly. * Energetic and engaging personality with the ability to facilitate fun, group-based learning experiences. * Driven to learn, grow, and help students achieve measurable improvement. * Bachelor's degree preferred. * PGA or LPGA affiliation and/or PGM program graduation are strong pluses. * Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods. This position provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to clients who have self-identified as desiring peer supports, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from addiction and/or mental illness. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months. Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder. May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty. If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety. Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification. Must be trained in administering Narcan. Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.
