Job Summary
The Development Engineer Intern is responsible for the supporting project development process, schedule, accuracy, and workflow with a focus on EV Charging projects. Daily components of this role include engineering support, coordination of subcontractor RFQs and responses, and development of technical project cost estimates and proposals, and supporting documents. The target dates for this role would be April-May 2026, through Mid-August 2026.
SitelogIQ company-issued computer and tablet along with all required software, monitors, printers, and supplies will be provided. Employees are expected to be available during normal business hours and to be logged into a group work sharing and communications during those hours. All members of our team are expected to work together in a positive, respectful, and professional manner.
Target Salary: $20-25 per hour.
Responsibilities
Support engineering and sales in project development, with a heavy focus on thorough communication and the development of proposals and supporting documents.
Collaborate with engineering team to support the development of plan sets under direct supervision.
Prepare and review submittal packages (including product data sheets, schematic drawings, detailed drawings, for content, accuracy, and alignment to proposal goals.
Upload and maintain all internal documentation in provided collaborative IT environment and manage document control processes.
Any, and all ad-hoc reporting, requests or other tasks deemed necessary.
Qualifications
Working towards undergraduate degree in engineering.
Work experience collaborating with others required.
Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical or power systems.
Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Professional communication skills.
Support and participate in continuous process and quality improvement.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, phone, and keyboard. May regularly need to lift up to 20 lbs., unassisted.

Minimum qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited school
* Current overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
* 0-3 years of related experience.
* Previous internship and/or relevant project experience in a technology related field.
* Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA for the duration of the internship

Build Up Internship

DPR Construction is seeking interns for our Build Up High School Internship in Construction Management. Tool belts not required! Interns will work in the job trailer, side-by-side with a project team building a major commercial construction project. Interns will learn about managing a multi-million-dollar project, the innovative technology used for planning, scheduling and design, and the wide range of professional roles needed to build great buildings.
Working with a team of mentors, interns will spend 35-40 hours a week on an active construction jobsite, assisting with important project functions including subcontractor coordination, document control, quality inspections, schedule updates, safety training, and site plan updates.
Build Up interns will be paid on an hourly basis. Anticipated starting pay range: between $20.00 and $26.00
Exact role will vary based on assigned project. The interns will work closely with members of the project team and will be responsible for participating in the following tasks:
Be responsible for a range of entry-level construction management assignments, working both alongside mentors and independently.
Gain experience setting career and education-related goals, exploring them through mentoring and jobsite assignments, and reflecting on findings through an 8-week Capstone project.
Develop presentation skills that will prepare them for future educational and career pursuits, as well as increase confidence in their abilities and leadership capacity.
Gain experience communicating, asking questions, receiving feedback, and navigating as a team member in an adult, professional environment.
To achieve this goal, DPR will:

Our Site Superintendent Intern will work out of our West Division, located in Northern California with travel. This position will have the opportunity to take part in the on-site development of projects and day-to-day project progress.
To be successful in this position, an individual will need to be self-driven person with an entrepreneurial spirit; unafraid of rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Solid decision-making skills are a must.
Ideal candidate would reside in Northern California and willing to travel to project sites for a week at a time. Every effort is made to assign the closest personnel to the project nearest to their home. The following responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the company and employee interest level.
Target Salary: $20-25 per hour and will include mileage reimbursement for travel in your personal vehicle.
Site Superintendent Responsibilities
Review the SitelogIQ Project Safety Manual and program and implement as required on the assigned projects.
Walk site(s) daily to enforce safety and quality control guidelines are being followed.
Document “Catching Safety” opportunities in Procore.
Validate progress (in Procore) from contractor's installation schedules from demo to completion.
Build a positive relationship with the Owner(s) of projects assigned.
Ensure projects are within project plan & specification scope.
Maintain up to date records of the projects during throughout the project(s) life cycle, within Procore.
Review monthly red line as-builts of each subcontractor and take the lead to acquire red line as-builts at the end of the project from all subcontractors.
Support and assist team members in throughout Project(s) life cycle: development/bidding, design, implementation, commissioning, and warranty phases.
All other duties as assigned.
Site Superintendent Qualifications
High School Education or GED required.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
General computer skills and the technical aptitude required to operate specialized data collection tools and meters.
Outstanding detail oriented and time management skills.
Availability for traveling on-site for duties or supervision as required which may require time afterhours or weekends.
This position may require 1-2 days per week of travel which may include extended travel requirements of a week or more.
Physical Requirements

DPR Construction is seeking interns for our Build Up High School Internship in Construction Management. Tool belts not required! Interns will work in the job trailer, side-by-side with a project team building a major commercial construction project. Interns will learn about managing a multi-million-dollar project, the innovative technology used for planning, scheduling and design, and the wide range of professional roles needed to build great buildings.

Auto-ApplyIntern provides technical support to and under the direction of the Project Engineer or Project Manager. An Intern's primary obligation is to learn Project Engineering duties such as project document control. Additionally, the Intern may assist in project administration, procurement, coordination, cost control, and scheduling tasks, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintain the project document control system as required by the Project Management Procedures Manual and the Contract Documents. Prepare periodic reports to direct report on status of project documents.
2. Review project team and subcontractor Requests for Information. Prior to transmitting to the design team, review contract documents to confirm RFI is necessary and to format questions appropriately. Transmit to design team, maintain status logs, and manage RFI responsiveness and responses. Ensure that RFI questions and responses are complete, reasonable, and appropriate given the contract documents and project status.
3. Understand project submittal requirements; review subcontractor submittals for conformance with contract documents and review with Superintendent. Provide any markups required and transmit subcontractor submittals to design team, maintain status logs, and manage submittal responsiveness.
4. Assist Project Engineer in creating and tracking material procurement log regularly. Coordinate with subcontractors to expediate material as necessary.
5. Assist in management of project permit and deferred submittal permit processes.
6. Assist Project Engineer in providing material quantity takeoffs on the contract documents to Project Manager for change order estimating, billing, and other estimating duties.
7. Assist the Project Engineer in evaluating subcontractor pricing by reviewing scope changes in the contract documents, analyzing with historical and current market data.
8. Assist Superintendent in distributing project schedule information to subcontractors.
9. Review ongoing construction work and assist Project Engineer with maintenance of project as-built drawings.
10. Assist Superintendent in tracking and inspecting material deliveries.
11. Bring field issues to the attention of Superintendent or Project Manager, as appropriate.
12. Take jobsite photos on a regular basis to document the construction progress.
13. Assist Project Engineer to document and coordinate punch list work with the subcontractors.
14. Assist in review of project specifications and track project close-out requirements. Gather, review, and compile all close-out documents such that they comply with all specification requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Effective written and oral communication skills are required. Excellent organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks are critical. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite are required. Fundamental understanding of construction, including estimating and scheduling is desired. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications as well as a familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project (or P6) are desired. An ability to use independent judgement, be self-starting and interact well with others is extremely important.
Educational and experience requirements include: 4-year engineering, construction management, or architectural degree in progress. Experience/knowledge of construction or design is helpful.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position is performed in an office or jobsite trailer environment. Position may require traversing irregular or uneven project site to access jobsite office. Personnel must have the ability to lift and carry small packages and material items in their work.

Job Summary
Sundt is looking for committed engineering and construction management students within accredited universities/colleges. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, specifically in the preconstruction phase of our projects. The intern will work closely with our Preconstruction and Operations teams, supporting various tasks that contribute to the successful planning and execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Aid in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
2. Assist in analyzing subcontractor bids and vendor proposals to ensure they meet project requirements.
3. Assist in the preparation and assembly of bid packages, ensuring that all necessary documents, specifications, and requirements are included and accurately presented.
4. Attend and contribute to preconstruction meetings, taking notes and assisting with follow-up tasks.
5. Help organize and maintain project documents, including plans, specifications, and addendums.
6. Participate in site visits as needed to gain a better understanding of project conditions and requirements.
7. Supporting the estimating team in preparing quantity take-offs, developing cost estimates, and creating bid packages.
8. Utilize modeling software (such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar) to develop accurate quantities and support the estimating process.
9. Work closely with operational leads, estimators, and other team members to ensure all preconstruction activities are completed accurately and on time.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. A team player, ready and willing to take on whatever challenge is offered.
2. Currently enrolled in a four-year Construction Management or Engineering program.
3. Eager to learn, immensely curious, full of questions

3. Understand project submittal requirements; review subcontractor submittals for conformance with contract documents and review with Superintendent. Provide any markups required and transmit subcontractor submittals to design team, maintain status logs, and manage submittal responsiveness.
4. Assist Project Engineer in creating and tracking material procurement log regularly. Coordinate with subcontractors to expediate material as necessary.
