The ProjectEngineer is responsible for document control of all plans and specifications, development of tracking logs, shop drawings, RFIs, POs, proposals, RFQs and other job specific documentation. They will also maintain cost tracking database, establish project scopes, and bid set specs and assist preconstruction and the PM with solicitation of bids for all trades. PE will also monitor any scope changes for compliance and pricing, process all field change orders, RFPs and RFIs. The ProjectEngineer will participate and present at OAC and contractor's weekly progress meetings. As part of Close-out, will assist the PA in tracking the checklist, collecting all operations manuals, prepare, and submit as-built drawings.
Responsibilities
SAFETY
When in field, responsible to support project safety policies and report safety information and violations to the Project Superintendent.
PRECONSTRUCTION PHASE
Assist Project Manager with preconstruction duties.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Assist the Project Manager coordinating the day-to-day management.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Participate in RFQ/RFP responses as needed.
Participate in project interviews as needed.
Assist with finding and developing future job opportunities.
Computer Software Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, at an intermediate skill level. Must be/become proficient in all aspects of Procore project management system.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and legal/construction documents. Ability to prepare responses for the Project Manager to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and reports for the Project Manager that conform to prescribed style and format.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and to make recommendations to the Project Manager based on abstract and concrete variables.

As a Construction Design/Build Project Manager (DBM) Intern/Co-op, every day brings a new lesson. You'll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.

Position Summary
The Materials intern will work directly with the supply chain planning and purchasing teams at all levels within Oatey's organizational structure. The position is designed to support demand and supply planning, inventory distribution and supply chain KPI analysis. Responsibilities:
* Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project
* Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team
* CPM schedule creation and updating/communicating
* Last Planner/White Board crew scheduling
* RFI's, submittals, meeting minutes, and other site communication
* Act as a project analyst; assess project controls information and assist jobsite leadership in problem solving and alternate methods to achieve project success
* Provide estimating take-offs and other support for analysis and change orders
* Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with trade contractors
* Prepare information for, and participate in, monthly project reviews
* Assist in procurement and expediting of materials and subcontracts

A Design Services intern will support Interstates with a variety of tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and construction. Primary Duties
* Equipment Lists - Collect data and review received information that represent the scope of the project
* Design - Record design decisions in software like InterTrak (internal equipment list software) to facilitate design drawings and equipment specifications
* Drawings - Use 2D and 3D drafting software to develop electrical drawings used to communicate project scope to the contractors or fabricators

* Aid in the design/build process by gathering field information and validating project design
Education and/or Experience:

* Good communication (verbal, written, listening) and teamwork skills
