* Understand and apply company safety practices including DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations
* Assist with the facilitation of information meetings with Service Center team members
* Effectively handle special assignments as directed

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean, trim and assemble components using hand tools and perform fit, form and function as required.
Perform required customer added processes, such as adding labels or IDs on finished part.
Move raw materials, components and finished goods to their assigned locations.
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, including verification of quantity and quality of all shipments.

Fabricate and fashion products using hand and power tools.

Set up and maintain fabrication machinery and assist with offline fabrication machinery to include routers, welder, robots and thermoforming.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, Product slotting and customer communication activities daily, including labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
• Effectively keeps senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues that affect the operations
• Ensures the development of systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Complies with terms outlined in the site's operating agreement with the client.
• Implements and reports on-going cost savings measures. Provides ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations.
• Meets all client specified KPI's and complies with Quality system requirements.
• Manages the operations to achieve prescribed objectives. Applies sound communication and motivational techniques, create programs to fairly and equitably supervise, counsel, and (where needed) discipline team members. Provides direction and support to Human Resources. Assists in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development. • Reviews pending jobs or trends, plan for reorganization of warehouse space, and needed changes in levels of supplies, equipment, or staffing needs.
• Trains new staff in assigned duties, or delegate training responsibility to experienced team members. Assesses progress of trainees and adds additional duties as appropriate.
• Keeps informed of quantity and quality of jobs being performed throughout the day, providing guidance and advice as necessary.
• Assigns supervisory duties to experienced team members acting as leads for lower-level warehouse staff. Keeps abreast of progress or problems.

The Supervisor coordinates dispatch activities, supports drivers, collaborates with safety and maintenance teams, and acts as the site lead in the Manager's absence. This position plays a key role in delivering consistent operational performance over weekend-heavy periods.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as back-up to the Manager, providing operational leadership Friday - Monday.
Lead, coach, develop, and schedule dispatchers and operators for weekend operations.
Ensure freight assignments, routing, and driver dispatch are executed safely and efficiently.
Oversee route planning, driver utilization, Hours of Service (HOS) compliance, and timeline adherence.
Communicate with customers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
Monitor and improve operational KPIs (on-time %, driver utilization, deadhead, dwell time).
Support driver performance management, including service issues, attendance, and safety compliance.
Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment availability and readiness.
Participate in accident/incident investigations and collaborate with Safety for follow-up actions.
Lead dispatch huddles, operational updates, and communication with drivers and support staff.
Address escalations quickly and effectively to ensure weekend operational continuity.
Work with Road Management to support productivity targets and dispatch reporting.
Partner with Sales to support customer retention and identify operational opportunities.
Assist with settlement disputes, documentation accuracy, and load tracking issues.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations.
Experience using TMS systems, ELDs, routing tools, and load tracking systems.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead operations during non-standard hours (weekend/transition days).
Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of transportation operations or dispatch experience.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, Product slotting and customer communication activities daily, including labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues and resolving problems. Under the direction of the Operations Manager or Distribution Center Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
• Effectively keeps senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues that affect the operations
• Ensures the development of systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Complies with terms outlined in the site's operating agreement with the client.
• Implements and reports on-going cost savings measures. Provides ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations.
• Meets all client specified KPI's and complies with Quality system requirements.
• Manages the operations to achieve prescribed objectives. Applies sound communication and motivational techniques, create programs to fairly and equitably supervise, counsel, and (where needed) discipline team members. Provides direction and support to Human Resources. Assists in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development. Participates in performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases, and other HR activities.
• Has overall training and evaluation responsibilities of warehouse staff.
• Plans the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers. Assesses priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources. Assigns duties to appropriate warehouse staff.
• Reviews pending jobs or trends, plan for reorganization of warehouse space, and needed changes in levels of supplies, equipment, or staffing needs.
• Trains new staff in assigned duties, or delegate training responsibility to experienced team members. Assesses progress of trainees and adds additional duties as appropriate.
• Keeps informed of quantity and quality of jobs being performed throughout the day, providing guidance and advice as necessary.
• Assigns supervisory duties to experienced team members acting as leads for lower-level warehouse staff. Keeps abreast of progress or problems.
• Keeps Manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention on a daily basis. Holds regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess the group's overall status. Discusses ideas for improvement. Keeps staff informed of new developments.
• Assists in the physical operations as needed.
• Delivers results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time
• Maintains high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of customer satisfaction
• Provides ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members
• Provides input and conducts annual performance reviews for team members
• Supports adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Supports and trains team members with adherence to SOPs (corporate and client)
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience:
• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years' experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
Computer Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point)

Implement a safety plan for the station
Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary
Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
Train/retrain all personnel in airline procedures, safety procedures, and company policies.
Maintain good employee relations. Handle employee problems efficiently and effectively.
Client Relations -- Effectively communicate with senior airline management and project a positive image in responding to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives.
Monitor employee activity and adjust as needed.
Handle off-schedule operations when the Manager is not available.
Perform other duties as requested.
