WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.

Provide responsible supervision and control for all departmental activities. Assist in the retention and training efforts of staff and of customers. Oversee performance statistics. Review and monitor shipment documentation for accuracy. Examine various documents including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements to ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
Compute duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported/imported to and from foreign destinations. Communicate with customs officials as appropriate to obtain release of incoming freight and resolve delays.
Establish, monitor, and revise policies, procedures and service standard for customs clearance operations as dictated and allowed by applicable. regulations. Ensure all policies and procedures are consistently administered.
Identify areas of concern in clients' import and export processes through monitoring of team performance against company and client standards, regular audit of shipment documents and accounting, and periodic client reviews.
Communicate with operations manager regarding progress and problems or issues. Maintain flexible work schedule include outside normal business hours and after hours on call rotation.
Effectively participate in and/or supervise department projects related to assigned area of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Ensures that all company, manufacturer, customer and FAA requirements and specifications are applied and enforced.
Ensure timely execution of work packages, work orders, and return-to-service documentation.
Manages and supervises assigned personnel to ensure maximum motivation, efficiency, and discipline in accordance with ComAv Technical Services policies and Repair Station Manual.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience - 5 years of commercial aviation leadership experience in Heavy Maintenance/C-Check, including aircraft and engine re-activation; transitional maintenance; aircraft modifications; including structural, electrical, avionics, and engine preservation. Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and documentation standards Understanding of FARs 43, 91, 121, 135, 145. Experience with aircraft Storage and Disassembly a plus.
Education - Operations Manager should at least have a high school diploma. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as: aerospace, engineering, business management is preferred.
License/Certifications - This position requires an A&P Certification and minimum10 years of experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic working with large commercial aircraft or transports.
Safety Management - Proactively promote a safety-first culture by ensuring you and your team understand and comply with the proper use of equipment and all relevant safety rules and regulations.
Budgeting/Scheduling Experience - Must have at least 5-years of budgeting and scheduling experience and the ability to create execution strategies accordingly.

This key role will direct, and coordinate production. The Supervisor will direct Team Leads, Set-up Techs, Operators, Machinists, and other employees involved in processing product. The position is responsible for scheduling all conventional production for both 1st and 2nd shift. The Manufacturing Supervisor will also lead performance through planning, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of the management team and employees while ensuring production quality and safety standards throughout the conventional side of the shop. Experience working with complex / engineered product lines.
Considerable experience defining and utilizing manufacturing systems, data, and metrics to plan and execute production plans.
Able to lead cross functional teams to identify the root cause and implement effective corrective actions for problems which impede the execution of production plans.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day site Operations, including but not limited to supervising the warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Planning of inbound and outbound volume, customer communication activities, space utilization & management, and equipment management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
