Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

BRMi Technology seeking a Performance Test Engineer to support performance testing for agile projects that manage development and deployments using Azure DevOps. The candidate will support performance testing using Micro Focus Performance Center and other tools such as NeoLoad. The candidate will collaborate with DevOps engineers, developers, and network and cloud engineers to plan, design, and develop performance tests in support of DevOps and Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines. The candidate will ensure all testing complies with organizational policies, system requirements, standards, and best practices. The candidate will manage test planning and test cases using Azure Test Plans and will be responsible for testing web application User Interfaces, APIs, and participating in the development of performance test frameworks.

**Qualifications**

+ Conduct performance engineering and testing activities for cloud, web-based, client-server applications, and REST API and web services.

+ Experience in understanding non-functional requirements and designing test strategy and design.

+ Hand on performance testing experience with large scale on-premises and cloud native applications.

+ Significant experience performance testing with VuGen scripting and Performance Center.

+ Hands on experience in web services testing including REST APIs.

+ Experience creating LoadRunner scripts using protocols such as web/HTTP/HTML and web services.

  • Perform Digital PreDistortion (DPD) Dynamic Traffic Testing on BTS products in an R&D environment. (2G/3G/4G/5G)
  • Working with Digital PreDistortion (DPD) Team to analyze logs.
  • Review testing results, test specifications, and related technical documents.
  • Provide fault reporting - Fault investigation/reporting which includes cooperation with other teams for both HW and SW
  • Troubleshoot automation, test setups, and BTS problems.
  • Support Test Automation development and functional reviews.
  • Supporting customer pronto and investigations as needed


Your skills and experience

You have:

  • BSEE or MS in Electrical Engineering / SW Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience working in an RF Laboratory environment.
  • Familiar with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters etc.)
  • Fluent in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office
  • Previous industrial experience preferred
  • Proven track record - previous involvement in successful product development programs is a definite plus

US Citizens or Green Card Holders Preferred
