About This Job
As our Sr / Lead Front Desk Specialist, you'll assist in overseeing a team of Front Desk Specialists and serve as the primary contact for guests, vendors, and owners, handling phone calls, emails, and chats to resolve questions about reservations and other concerns while maintaining high satisfaction standards. You'll coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams, verify unit availability for vendor visits, and identify potential owner leads to support business growth. This role combines excellent customer service with administrative coordination, making you a key player in creating positive experiences and building lasting relationships.

Essential Job Functions
Assist with leading a team of Front Desk Specialists.
Oversee daily operations and workflow management to optimize team productivity and meet departmental objectives. Identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and quality outcomes.
Act as the first point of contact for our guests, vendors, and, occasionally, our owners within a local management office.
Be responsible for taking incoming phone calls, occasional outbound calls, and responding to emails or chats on a daily basis from guests who have questions or concerns about a reservation, statement or other concern.
Assist with the creation and delegation of maintenance and housekeeping tickets (If applicable).
Verify unit availability to assist with scheduling vendor or realtor visits.

Skills + Qualifications
Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred.
1 - 2 years experience in administrative support, front desk or similar position.
Prior experience in supervisory or management level position in a similar industry.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
This role involves frequent travel between worksites, so reliable personal transportation is essential.

COMPENSATION
The starting salary offered for this position is $40,000, paid twice a month in accordance with Natural Habitat Adventures' standard payroll practices and subject to all withholdings and deductions as required by law. You will be eligible to receive a commission on your own tour and extension sales at a rate of 1% of sales revenue (excluding all airfare) and bonuses consistent with the bonus structure as set for by our Chief Sales Officer. Bonuses will be based on bookings by month, starting at 30 bookings and increasing in value with every 10 additional bookings made.
At one year of employment, compensation moves from the plan stated above to the standard commission structure: a salary of $8,000 per year, commission at the approximate rate of 1.25% of your sales, and bonuses as set forth for the team.

WORKING HOURS

+ Keep work areas clean and treatment rooms organized according to standards.
+ Have knowledge of and suggest to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
+ Complete client product cards after each body treatment.
+ Understand and use universal precautions and sanitary procedures.
+ Maintain storage areas to ensure cleanliness, freshness, and organization.
+ Frequent checks of equipment and facility to ensure safety and prevent loss of equipment.
+ Attend departmental meetings as scheduled by spa management and/or resort management.
+ Be familiar with all resort services/ features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
+ Complies with all Resort policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
