In his role he oversees the Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Revenue Cycle and IT functions. He is skilled at navigating businesses through growth stages and turnaround situations and has successfully completed several private equity transactions throughout his career. Prior to joining Persante, Carmen was the CFO of the Refac Optical Group, the sixth largest U.S. retailer of optical products and services operating over 800 retail locations in 48 states and Canada. Carmen began his career at Ernst & Young and advanced to the level of Senior Manager in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services Group where he focused on the manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries. Carmen is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.
