Persona company history timeline

1999

Persona 2: Innocent Sin takes place three years after the events of Revelations: Persona in the year 1999.

2000

Released in 2000 for the PlayStation, Persona 2 had a very unusual release schedule.

2010

Persona 3: The Answer takes place a few weeks after Persona 3 on March 31st, 2010 with the members of SEES mourning the death of their friend and leader, Minato.

2011

Persona 4 follows a the protagonist known as either Yu Narukami or Seta Souji after he moves in with his cousin and uncle in the small town of Inaba on April 11, 2011.

Like the original Persona, both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment were remade for the PlayStation Portable in 2011.

2016

Persona 5 mostly takes place in 2016 and follows protagonist Ren Amamiya/Akira Kurusu after he's put on parole after assaulting a politician while defending a woman.
