Shall be provided by a community access specialist who;
Completed a department approved training program within one (1) year of application while providing community access services under the direct supervision of a community access specialist;
Community Access Providers will ensure the following regulations and job descriptions are followed:
Shall be designed to support a participant to participate in meaningful routines, events, and activities through various community organizations;
Shall be designed to empower a participant in developing natural supports;
Shall stress training that empowers a participant in acquiring, practicing, utilizing, and improving skills related to:
Connecting with others;
Independent functioning;
Self-Advocacy;
Socialization;
Community participation;
Personal responsibility;
Financial responsibility; and
Other skills related to optimal well-being as defined in the participant's person-centered service plan.
Shall be designed to result in an increased ability to develop natural supports and access community resources including educational, recreational, religious, civic, or volunteer opportunities with an outcome of:
Less reliance on formal supports; and
Greater reliance on natural or unpaid supports as established in the participant's person-centered service plan;
Shall have an emphasis on the development of personal social networks, membership opportunities, friendships, and relationships for the participant as established in the participant's person-centered service plan;
Shall be provided outside the participant's home or residential setting and occur during the day, in the evening, or on weekends;
Shall not duplicate residential support or day training services, or authorized therapies;
Shall be provided to a participant with a:
One (1) to one (1) staff to participant ratio; or
Ratio of one (1) staff to no more than two (2) participants according to the participant's person-centered service plan, if the participant invites a friend;
Shall occur in an integrated community setting;
Shall be an impact service and the participant's person-centered service plan shall define steps to decrease the provision of the service as the participant becomes more independent in accessing and becoming part of the community;
Documentation
Shall be documented in the MWMA by:
1. A note documenting each contact, which shall include:
a. A full description of each service rendered;
b. Evidence of training or service to support outcomes designated in the
participant's person-centered service plan;
c. The date of the service;
d. The location of the service;
e. The beginning and ending times of the service;
f. The signature and title of the individual providing the service; and
g. The date the entry was made in the record; and
Shall not exceed 160 fifteen (15) minute units per week alone or in combination with community access group services.

Minimum Qualifications for GS-05
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
* Performing recordkeeping and reporting.
* Compiling, maintaining, and updating automated records.

Education substitution:
You must have successfully completed four years of education above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

Combination of Education and Experience:
You must have an appropriate combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements for the GS-05 grade level. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application
Minimum Qualifications for GS-06
Specialized Experience: You must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-05 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
* Processing individuals arrested or detained by law enforcement officials (e.g., booking and property inventory procedures).
* Performing file searches and assembling documentation.
* Responding to routine requests and issues regarding legal or law enforcement policies, practices and procedures.
Typing Requirement
In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must show possession of the ability to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample, with three or fewer errors. You may self-certify your proficiency in the Occupational Questionnaire.

* Four Handed Dentistry- fabricate temporary crowns, place rubber dam, place amalgam and composite restorations, assist with seating permanent/removable prosthodontics, coronal polishing, sealant placement.
* Ability to take, develop and "mount" accurate, high quality radiographs/intra-oral photos.
* Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, prior to and after a patient's appointment.
* Track the incoming and outgoing lab cases, monitor and order dental supplies.
* Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance, follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment.
* Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable.
* Assist the business administrative team in scheduling patients and submitting referrals as clinically necessary.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* An understanding of basic math
* Ability to work in Microsoft Word
* Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment
* Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
* Travel requirement; 0-75%
* Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner
* Ability to follow instructions
* May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis
Work Conditions
* Position is based out of a branch or site location.
* Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere
* Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel
* Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
* Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
* May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes
Physical and Mental Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
* Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
* Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
