Our Coating Assistant supports Mativ's Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions Function. This individual will perform the operations required to set up and operate the coating machines by applying specific adhesive to a variety of release liners and substrates. Operators in this classification are responsible for the full set-up and operation of the coating machines, inclusive of both the wet and dry ends of the machine and must maintain a clean room appearance at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Utilizing specified materials, cleans coating machine, as directed, for process preparation and to ensure the product quality to specification. * Prepares raw materials (adhesive, solvents, additives, and liners) for use in the coating process at the assigned machine. Is properly trained in the use of various material handling equipment (lift trucks, hoists, platform trucks, etc.) as needed to properly move and position these materials for the product to be processed.
