Position requires the ability to carry out oral and written directions. Requires sufficient communication skills to interact with co-workers, college staff and students on matters pertaining to grounds. Requires a valid Oregon driver's license. Abilities: Requires ability to perform instant or sustained arduous physical activity, sustained walking, ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 60 pounds; ability to bend, twist, and stoop repeatedly. Requires coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and equipment safely. Work is performed outdoors and requires exposure to inclement weather. Equipment: Equipment used includes shovels, hoes, rakes, hand pruners and post hole digger, and all types of power and hand tools used in lawn and landscape maintenance.
