ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists with implementing each individual's Service Plan, therapeutic physical/ psychological care, and increasing independent vocational and leisure skills.
Assists with carrying out restorative plans.
Maintains documentation of behavioral symptoms and other data collection requirements in accordance with Service Plan.
Assists and promotes independence with cares (including personal hygiene), ambulating in the home and accessing the community, preparation of meals, doing personal laundry and doing household tasks.
Functions as an integral member of the team providing appropriate interventions during medical, behavioral, and/or facility emergencies.
Provides personal hygiene including bathing (tub, shower, bed bath), oral care, skin and nail care and hand washing.
Completes resident grooming including hair care, shaving, dressing and weighing. Encourages residents toward independent personal care.
Assists with toileting including bowel and bladder retraining and perinea care.
Performs and assists with mobility, transferring, ambulation, positioning and range of motion per the Individual Service Plan.
Administers all medications and treatments as prescribed by physician and psychiatrist.
Requests medications from pharmacy; enters new medication orders; transcribes orders; faxes orders to pharmacy; pulls medication to return.
Verifies narcotic count at the beginning and end of every shift.
Documents accurately all cares given, including dietary intake and output, temperature, weight, blood pressure pulse and respiration, using approved abbreviations and descriptive terms.
Serves residents their meals; motivates and assists them with intake of nourishment and fluids.
Participates in the planning of resident care through shift reports and resident care staffing meetings when assigned.
Informs verbally and/or submits in writing any observations and changes in a resident for the licensed nurse or supervisor to evaluate, including dietary intake.
Answer all call signals and requests of residents immediately.
Encourages/assist residents in keeping their rooms clean and orderly; assists with making beds.
Maintains unit in a clean and orderly manner.
Keeps all resident's personal belongings and equipment clean.
Escorts residents to appointments as scheduled.
Participates in household activity programs planned for residents as needed
Performs a total inventory of all resident's possessions on admission, discharge, or transfer.
Ensures all resident's possessions are properly labeled.
Tracks and reconcile resident fund accounts at the beginning and end of the shift. Assists with deposits and withdrawals from resident accounts as needed for community involvement activities.
Responds to resident emergency including bleeding, falls, seizures, CPR and performance of Heimlich maneuver.
Assists with post-mortem care as assigned.
Transports dietary carts and linen carts.
Performs housekeeping and laundry responsibilities as needed.
Assists with the training and orientation of new Household Assistants.
Provides backup assistance to other department personnel as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of PPE and its proper use for personal safety measures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and assure resident rights and privacy are protected at all times per HIPAA.
Knowledge of chemicals used in housekeeping and laundry services including hazardous laundry chemicals and isolation procedures.

The Bobst Large Format Flatbed Die Cutter Assistant Operator is responsible for inspecting product and stacking off die cuts. This personassists in set-ups by adding and removing die boards located under the machine. The Flatbed Assistant is expected to learn the next highest job in the line of progression and step up as needed.
Essential Functions:
Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment
Complete required quality inspections per customer specifications and paperwork - quality is the responsibility of all employees
Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
Provide an active role in the housekeeping of the assigned area
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
Stack off die cut blanks or assist in feeding sheets into the machine
Make units the required dimensions and adequately protect products
Properly identify each unit with proper count and order number
Perform minor repairs to cutting boards
Set up machine center for production runs
Scan WIP units
Assist with changing out die-boards

POSITION SUMMARY: This role provides essential support to programming at the horse barn and the camp garden through a variety of tasks, including basic horse care and working hands-on with campers during their garden-based cooking classes.
POSITION AVAILABILITY: This role begins with a required training from June 15 - June 17. This position is 15-30 hours per week and must be available Monday - Friday, June 18 - August 16 with the ability to work between the hours of 12:30pm - 6pm.
BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Support the operations of lower camp program areas, particularly the Equestrian Program at the horse barn and the Garden Program, by maintaining a tidy, safe environment for live animals and participants.
With support of other Equestrian staff, maintain a herd of 6 horses, including maintaining feed, water, grain, supplements, wound care, and knowledge of turnout etc.
Assist with care of a small flock of chickens, as needed.
Support the delivery of garden programming by guiding campers through basic cooking skills, such as knife skills, using a hot plate, and harvesting and washing fresh produce.
Support the Garden Program Coordinator with garden maintenance, including weeding, watering, and other necessary care to ensure a productive and beautiful teaching garden.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is compensated at a rate of $16.25 per hour, pre-tax.
Summer seasonal staff are paid on a bi-weekly basis and are classified as exempt, seasonal employees.

Staff must be ready for new experiences and maintain a consistent level of energy all summer long.
Position requires standing, stooping, sitting, walking long distances on uneven terrain (5+ miles a day), and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds with or without assistance.
Camp activities are often loud, involving many people talking, yelling, cheering, etc., in indoor and outdoor settings.
The camp environment is often hot, rainy, with bugs or other wildlife. Staff must be able to work outside in a nature setting for sustained periods of time without air conditioning.
All PEAK Initiative properties, including Lake Valley Camp and the Milwaukee Program Center, are substance-free environments. Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption, and the use of illicit drugs are strictly prohibited on all property regardless of whether or not staff are on break.
Staff must be able to walk and perform activities in the dark in an outdoor, nature setting.
